advice for first time snowboarders buying here Look I think on the whole this store is probably really good. The staff were patient and I think if you go in with an idea of what you want it would be a great place! But as a first time snowboarder I got sold a pair of boots 1 1/2 sizes too big for me as well as a board that was also over sized despite sharing my size, weight ect. This has set me back so much money going into the season. I understand it is hard with a language barrier and as a person who has no experience buying snowboarding gear before but a shoe size is a shoe size. Please give all your customers the attention they deserve even if it’s there first time. Please be extra cautious here buying for the first time and make sure you get recommended the right size gear for you. Maybe ask some other stores first about sizes. Especially with shoe sizes as snowboard boots are quite an investment. Apart from that the staff are friendly and it’s a great shop! Just double check everything...

Bad attitude staff. As we were deciding to buy snowboard bindings and trying on Supermatic, one of the staff immediately charged us and removed it from us instantly. We were startled from the staff's action. He quickly brought a cloth and cleaned the binding thoroughly as if we were filthy and put it back to the shelf. We didn't understand why the staff did this, especially in front of the customer. If they didn't allow customers to try on their goods, they should've put a sign on. And even if they didn't allow so and some customer did, they also should've asked them politely. This is very rude and the staff didn't apologize or explain anything to us. This shop has very bad attitude staff. Absolutely not...

I went to almost every single sports shop on this strip but nowhere had the products that I was looking for in my size. I am only a size S - a common size - but nowhere except Murasaki Sports had what I was looking for! The service was incredible. A lady staff member went above and beyond to overcome the language barrier and help me get a discount. Regardless, every staff member I passed offered a smile. I found most sport shops in Tokyo to be very crowded and hectic, creating an intimidating environment but Murasaki Sports was the perfect place to shop; less staff to avoid a crowded feeling, multiple designated floors to shop for particular items and a huge variety of brands and...
