I recently had an exceptional experience at the Ski Shop Vail Tokyo, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Sakura San, her coworker and her incredible customer service. From the moment I walked in, she was so patient and attentive, really taking the time to ensure I found the perfect pair of boots. Unlike other shops where you feel rushed or pressured to buy something, Sakura San genuinely wanted me to get a pair that fit my preferences. She had me try on multiple boots, patiently adjusting them and making sure I was comfortable with the fit, especially as I was looking for something stiffer.

Her knowledge was impressive—she answered every single question I had about the boots, explaining the details in a way that made sense to me. The staff also spoke English, which made the experience even more seamless.

I visited a number of ski shops in the Kanda Ogawamachi district before deciding to purchase boots and skis from Vail. Miss Modegi was very patient with me and took the time required, especially with fitting the boots, to make sure the selection of gear was comfortable, properly sized and appropriate to my skiing style and level.

My experience with this shop is that they do things right, don't cut corners and look after the customer well. My wife and I bought ski boots from Vail in January. After a few different trips back to the shop to try and get a tighter fit on my wife’s boots, it turns out the boots they sold her are one size too big. We tried to be resonance and pay the cost price for a second pair of boots that were the right size (on top of the price of the original pair that were full price) but Vail refused to take any responsibility for fitting my wife with the wrong size and would only offer a 10% discount.
