Sanrio SHIBUYA109 — Local services in Tokyo

Not very big, this Sanrio shop is squeezed by clothing stores all around. It closes at 9pm which is good because I was just chased out of the Harajuku shop which closed at 7pm.

All the Sanrio stores have no tax free benefits for tourists. The cute colorful paper bags (last year was only in brown) are only 22 yen each for all sizes.

They have the usual assortment of Sanrio products, all catering to little girls dreams from pencils, pencil holders, doll hoods, bags, stuffed toys and so much more totally unnecessary stuff😀. But if you go home without a Sanrio for your girl, you’ll forever be in the black book.

A comparison of the Sanrio stores is quite helpful because I was able to find a lavender Kuromi doll which they didn’t have in Shibuya. There is a slight difference in product ranges among the stores.

Please also note that there is another Sanrio store in Shibuya across the street at Magnet. Both Sanrio stores are easily accessible from Tokyo Metro exits. Shibuya 109 mall is just outside across from exit 3 of Shibuya station.

The different stores also have different promotions. Harajuku had a lucky draw (which I was too late for as it was already 7pm when I was at the cashier. In Shibuya 109 Sanrio, you get to vote for your favorite Sanrio character with pink tokens that you slip into sticks lined...

I visited the Sanrio store with my girlfriend to try and find her a hello Kitty shirts for the sanrio Pearl land adventure Park however we didn't find any hello Kitty T-shirts but we did find so many other cool items like mini hello kitty purses and hair clips for my nieces I definitely recommend visiting this mall to be honest the entire shopping center has so many different stores to choose from but most of them have boutiques that are cater to...
