I am so disappointed in the pricing and quality of these nails. My daughter asked for a manicure for her special 16th birthday. The reservation process, and payment, and communication were excellent. However, the nails were just okay… nothing spectacular and cost $220 USD! I was shocked I initially thought they would be around $120 or so but when we clarified we wanted extensions, French and designs, the estimate went way up! Would leave 0 stars if possible. First off, a credit card is required to book, and you are charged upfront before the service. Upon arrival, I was informed I could only pick from 6 designs of her choosing. If I wanted another design, it would cost more (2,000 - 6,000 yen).As my card was already charged upon learning this, it made it very difficult to dispute the service. All the designs lacked diversity, and we're gel with glitter, which I did not want. The lack of communication, upsell culture and customer service is the worst part. Even in the end, she admitted she could have done better. Not what you want to hear from a nail...

I had the pleasure of visiting Stella Nail during my trip to Japan, and it was an amazing experience! The nail technician was incredibly sweet and skilled. Not only did she do a fantastic job on my nails, but we also had a lovely conversation throughout the appointment. She even went out of her way to recommend some great places to visit during my trip, which I really appreciated. The salon was clean, cosy, and welcoming.
