As someone who’s grown up loving claw games this place was a dream come true! It was important to me to visit a claw arcade while in Japan and this place was perfect, there was a ton of variety both in claw game types as well as prizes, there is a machine that deflates stuffed animals to make them better for travel, and best of all as a tourist the staff was incredibly kind and helpful even through language barriers and they did everything they could to assist me, if im ever back in town again this place will be my go to! I love Taito Station so much! It's always a blast dropping into these and seeing what the game centers offer.

From crane machines to purikura booths, this small but mighty Taito Station has a lot to offer for eager gamers and curious passer-byers. Plus they have clean public restrooms that you can use in case you can't make it back to your accommodations in time.

Being it's Asakusa, coming here at night meant the Taito Station was actually not as busy as it could have been. A definite win compared to the crowded game centers in other...

A good place to drop by if you're Asakusa and want your arcade fix. The arcades there support paying via IC cards, so you can tap your Suica, ICOCA and variants to "insert credits" (most games are 100 yen/credit). Keep on mind that, there aren't that many games, it's a smaller station than the ones you might see in Osaka or Akihabara.

Oh, there also are purikura (= print clubs) if you want to try them. There also are UFO catchers as well, but you'll find those in most Japanese...
