We visited on Tuesday evening. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The decor had a nostalgic feel and was a perfect backdrop for the evening. The waitress was delightful and informative. The friendly, personable owner visited our table and explained the history of the venue. We had the stuffed cabbage, which tasted delicious. The sweetcorn and carrot soup had a real depth of flavour. All the food was perfectly presented and balanced. We had glasses of red & white wine, which tasted delicious and were good accompaniments to the food. The whole evening was a delight and we hope to return when we next visit Tokyo, as it was a very different style to other Japanese restaurants....
