Probably my favourite store in Japan. They’re open 24/7 the staff is super helpful even at freaking 5 in the morning. I had allot of allergies and eczema because of the chloric water in Japan and also the tapestry in every freaking hotel. So this store helped me out. They have all the medicine in the world only 10 times better. They also sell allot of skincare products and hair products. Actually all the durgstore products you can think of and more. Great selection of beauty products. There are also groceries and bento food available. The prescription corner though has a long line and maybe it’s because it takes long to prepare an order. I spent a long time shopping upstairs, roaming downstairs, I kept going around the shelves because my order wasn’t ready yet. The pharmacist was very kind to explain the 飲み方for my medicine which I appreciate, and also that there’s both an English and Japanese...

(English follows) 新宿大ガードの交差点に2018年12月にオープン。24時間営業で、1階は薬品・日用品や食品、2階は化粧品というフロア構成です。フロアの昇降にはエスカレーターが完備されています。 1階では従来の都心型ドラッグストアよりも幅広い品揃えで、弁当等も販売されているため、コンビニ的に利用する層も多そうです。電子レンジや、僅か4席ではあるもののイートインスペースもあり。 2階はかなり広々とした化粧品フロア。奥の方にカウンセリング化粧品もありますが、そちらは写真の通り夜はスタッフ常駐ではありません。しかしそれを差し引いても、近隣では最大の品揃えと言えると思います。 2階窓際に座れる休憩スペースあり。家族連れ旅行者のお父さんとお子さんがこちらでお母さんを待っているのをよく見かけます。

Newly opened in the end of 2018, I can say this is the biggest drug store in Shinjuku for the moment. 24 hour open, tax free service available. 1st floor has pharmacy, food and beverage, while 2nd floor is all for cosmetics covering most major brands and popular products. Many tourists would visit Don-quijote as it’s also 24-hour open, but if you love to pick from wide variety of Japanese cosmetics, this is the place to visit.
