My friend and I came here just to have a drink. We saw it on social media and it seemed like a fun plan.
At the very first, we clearly told the staff we just wanted a drink and my friend wanted to pay for the performance. They made us pay for the “one hour free drink” which was 4.000¥. Again, we reiterated we only wanted ONE drink but they told us it was how it works. Not only that, but we also had to pay for extra fees which were not explained before making the reservation… Also, there was a moment that ine of those guys wabted to charge us for an extra “menu” that he recommended us and which we refused 3 times.
Anyways, at first it was fun, we (all the customers) were enjoying the performances but all of a sudden, nearly all the customers left ending up just being a group of 5 people, us (my friend and I) and another couple.
My friend requested for a performance (which was 2.500¥). We were awaitung for her performance but the big group were getting all the performances. We didn’t put too much thought into it since again, we were aware it was a relatively “big” group. After about 15-20 minutes. We were still waiting for my friend’s performances’ (and of course, not getting it), and that said big group had had already, at least, 6-7 performances (not exaggerating); not only that, but the staff had also some of their friends over so they were giving them free performances when my friend (again) had requested nearly 30 minutes beforehand that performance.
In the end, we left without the performance which my friend was hoping to enjoy. We felt ripped off (not only for paying nearly 6.000¥ per person for only ONE drink) but also for the fact that they tried to charge us for an extra menu. We felt left out since they didn’t pay any attention to us and also disappointed because we were really waiting for that said performance.
So yeah, if you are not willing to spend a lot of cash there, definetely won’t recommend ut since they win’t even...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews unless I’ve had an extremely good or extremely bad experience — but this place definitely deserves the praise. It was amazing, and I would absolutely do it again.
I’d seen some mixed reviews online, but personally, I had an awesome time. Specifically, Earth was incredible — super sweet, attentive, and genuinely great at what he does. Honestly, everyone working there seemed to do an excellent job overall.
As for the negative reviews I saw before coming, I think many of them stem from misplaced expectations. At its core, this is a performance-based experience — that’s what you’re paying for. If you come in expecting something completely different or unrealistically high-end for a low price, you’ll likely be disappointed.
You can absolutely enjoy this place on a budget: grab a drink, stay for an hour, soak in the vibe, and just watch the performances. You don’t have to spend much to have a fun, memorable time.
However, keep in mind a few things: • Reservations matter. If you walk in late at night without one, it might be busier and you might get less one-on-one time. That’s not on the staff — they genuinely do their best to give everyone attention, even when it’s crowded. • Prices are transparent. The menu (available in English) clearly lists everything. They double and even triple-check with you before charging for anything. You can always ask at any time what your current bill is. • Communication is key. Most staff aren’t fluent in English, so if you’re unsure, use Google Translate to make things clear.
Overall, you make this experience what you want it to be. You can go for the bare minimum and still have a great time, or you can spend a bit more for a truly immersive, personalized experience. Either way, it’s all about your attitude and communication.
Highly recommend — come with an open mind and realistic expectations, and you’ll have an...
Read moreIf I could rate 0 stars I would. I booked a reservation for 4 people at 9pm on a Saturday. We arrived on time and there were 2 other groups. Upon entry, the host warned us of the cost per person which we thought was ¥1000 yen but they had details underneath, forcing you to pay for all you can drink for another ¥4000 yen each on top of other random costs for entry. We were okay with paying the entrance fee but we were sat for 15 minutes looking at the menu and during that time none of the macho men even glanced in our direction. The original host came to our table and explained the menu, we said okay and he took that as us ordering the most expensive set(the pineapple one). We decided we wanted to leave because it wasn’t fun in the slightest, we stood up to tell them we weren’t comfortable staying and were talking to the original host and he said we can’t leave because we have to pay for the set that wasn’t even prepared (it was still a pineapple) and that we had to share the drinks with the other guests we didn’t know. We told him we didn’t order it but he started getting aggressive and yelling at me specifically saying i ordered it when i didn’t say any words. He was yelling at me in front of the whole bar and all the workers trying to make us stay- why would I want to stay after being screamed at and embarrassed in front of everyone? He eventually took us into the hallway to talk because you couldn’t hear anything in the bar, then he continued yelling at all of us. We offered to pay the entrance fee but not the drinks because we received 0 service and 0 attention. I do not recommend this place in the slightest, go to the one in Kyoto- you don’t have to pay for attention at that one. They also offer a measly ¥500 yen off to leave a good google review to hide all of the bad ones warning everyone it’s a tourist trap. DO...
