Coronarita (RM65) was served shortly after our order was put in. Though it is rather expensive at 20SGD, the portion was good for two. It was essentially 3 drinks in one – 2 servings of magarita along with a bottle of Coronarita. From this perspective, the Coronarita was still worth it. Taste wise, it was rich and the bartender had a rather heavy pour which we liked 😁

The cool part about the Coronarita is that as you continue to consume this drink, more Corona gets thrown into the mix and the flavour of the drink evolves slowly, eventually to the eventual taste of the Corona. A clever drink!

Next up, the La Bomba Nachos (RM35). For this dish, the grilled cheese with chilli and beef were prepared on a hot plate and brought to the table. Once the nachos is placed on the table, the grilled cheese mixture is then drizzled over the nachos. We did not know about this “show” that was about to take place so were not able to take a video of it. Be prepared to do a short video if you order this dish!

We’ve got to say that this was arguably one of the best dish we’ve had during this Penang trip! The grilled cheese mixture was so rich and flavourful! The chili gave a nice tangy and spicy taste while the nachos remain crisp after doused in the cheese mixture. There’s also a little cheese pull when you try to separate the nacho chips from each other. Definitely a “must-order” if you’re ordering finger food at Holy Guacamole Penang!

Mexico City Pizza (RM43) was the last dish that we ordered as we figured that we should try out the “guacamole” here since we’re dining at Holy Guacamole. We did not regret this choice. This is because the pizza is actually a thin crust that is less like a doughy pizza but more like a crispy pita bread. As you can see, the ingredients are generously laid out all over the pizza with big dollops of guacamole. A huge portion was served. Hence, it’s another good finger food to be shared.

If you're craving authentic Mexican flavors with a twist of Penang’s vibrant culture, Holy Guacamole at Love Lane is definitely worth a visit! Tucked in the heart of the city, this gem offers a cozy ambiance with a lively atmosphere that makes you feel right at home the moment you step in.

The service here is top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their food. We were greeted with warm smiles as soon as we walked in, and the staff were quick to answer any questions we had about the menu. It's clear they care about giving you a great experience from the moment you sit down to the moment you leave.

We tried their quesadillas and fajitas, and they did not disappoint!

The quesadillas were perfectly crispy on the outside, with a satisfying, gooey cheese filling. The fillings were generous, with the option to add grilled chicken, beef, or even vegetarian options. The balance of flavors was on point, and each bite was bursting with rich, savory goodness. The side of salsa and guacamole were fresh and vibrant—adding just the right amount of zest.

The fajitas were a standout! Served sizzling hot, the portion sizes were generous, and the aroma alone was enough to get our taste buds tingling. The marinated meat was tender and full of flavor, and the vegetables were grilled to perfection. Wrapped in soft, warm tortillas with a side of sour cream and pico de gallo, it was a complete fiesta on a plate.

Holy Guacamole is a must-try for anyone in Penang who enjoys bold flavors and great service. Whether you're a local or a tourist, it's a place where you can kick back, relax, and indulge in some seriously good Mexican food. The friendly atmosphere and the authentic flavors will make you want to return time and time again. Highly recommended for a casual yet delicious...

We’ve always wanted to try the food here and once we were in Penang we headed straight to try em. Upon entering you cannot miss the bright and colourful restaurant with peppy music and packed with people and its so happening! We were seated by our waiter and proceeded to order.

For food we had : Chicken Enchilada (RM 32) Pollo Los Burrito (RM 27) Hongos Calabaza Los Burrito (RM 30) Camaron Taco (RM 16) Holy Taco (RM 13) Horigos Asada Taco (RM 12)

The food is amazing! The dishes are presented very well with beautiful cutlery. The food offered a wide range of authentic Mexican flavours. The burrito was definitely full filling and the tacos are amazing! They also serve additional sauces incase you love spicy food 😁

For drinks we had : Iced Lemon Tea (RM 12) Hot Lemon Tea (RM 12) Passionfruit Virgin Mojito (RM 20) Lime Virgin Mojito (RM 20) Strawberry Virgin Mojito (RM 20)

Special mention to the virgin mojito as they were great and especially super refreshing when paired with the great food we had. The minty flavours of the mojitos does elevate the drinks.

For dessert we had : Churros (RM 18)

The churros came in piping hot 😄and with two types of dip, which were the chocolate and the caramel dip. The caramel dip IS AMAZING! it wasn’t too sweet and in the right consistency and tasted so great with the churros that we finished it 😅 a must try!

Overall we loved the ambiance of this place, its so happening with the live music going on and the waiters being so attentive to their customers. This place is great for big groups of friends and even small group of friends! Definitely worth...
