Where is a dad to go when he wants to let his energetic kids exhaust their boundless energy? The answer, my friends, is the Bintang Playhouse. Nestled unassumingly on Level 4 of Hotel Royal Signature, this pristine, spacious playground is all about delighting the little ones while providing a comfy environment for parents.
The moment you enter, you realize - it truly is a hidden gem. So secret, it often feels like my 3 little minions have the place all to themselves. Their squeals of delight resonate through the well-lit, tasteful space illuminated with the perfect blend of warm and cool lights.
The playhouse is meticulous in its cleanliness, quieting the inner voice of a typical parent always worried about germs. Let's just say, hygiene here isn't merely praiseworthy, it's redefined!
The price point at 60 MYR per kid for 2 hours might seem steep, but looking at the joy on my kids' faces, it's unquestionably worth it. Money well spent, for sure!
Adding to Bintang Playhouse’s appeal, there's ample seating strategically placed allowing parents like me to sit back, relax and observe our joy-filled little ones. An added bonus, a dedicated baby room facilitates diaper changes, and there's even hot water on deck for milk preparation!
To sum it up, Bintang Playhouse is a place where magic happens for the kids and tranquility prevails for parents. A recipe for a perfect day, indeed! We're still here, my kids playing, me writing, and every one of us incredibly content. An undiscovered treasure, it's a kids' paradise...

It was a bit hard for us to locate it at first so do note that the playhouse is located INSIDE the Royal Signatures hotel at level 4. Hotel parking is RM12 flat rate for playhouse guests. We parked at Sungei Wang instead which was a 10mins walk (with a baby in a stroller & a toddler picking up every single branch he could find😅) from the hotel. Parking was RM4 for the first 2hours and RM2 for every subsequent hour. You can also park at Low Yat which is much closer to the hotel.
Overall, my 3year old son and 2months old daughter both enjoyed our time at the playhouse. The playhouse has a Montessori concept which centers around sensory & imaginary play. The place smells great and the environment is bright & welcoming. Since I had to deal with a toddler and newborn at the same time, I was so relieved that the staff were helpful & accommodating. They have ample seating (comfortable sofas and chairs) for parents to relax while watching over the kids.
Toilets and baby changing room is also conveniently located inside the playhouse. Plus they have a little pantry for drinking etc

Read moreMega HUGE shoutout to the staff Yana for helping me entertain my 2.5 year old daughter during our two hours there since I couldn’t do much whilst being 32 weeks pregnant. She was attentive and friendly towards my daughter and it was literally the first time I’ve ever seen my daughter follow a stranger around an unfamiliar place (she actually had a huge separation anxiety so this really impressed me).
Play-area is gorgeous, huge, clean and full of different activities. Climbing area is only 2 floors, definitely not as huge as Jungle Gym however is enough to have the kids run around I supposed. Price to add in the sensory room for 30 mins is a little bit steep (extra RM60) but my daughter enjoyed going in despite that it’s quite a small area. There is a cafe by the pool across the play-area for parents to relax in if they’ve decided to hire someone at the playarea to watch their child however the drinks cost quite a bomb (like RM40+ for a simple mocktail).
Overall my daughter absolutely enjoyed the place and we’d definitely...
