Fury #3 out ran a big squall (the storm pummeled the north side of the island for 6 hours) and the crew reorganized our trip route on the fly on 3 August 2024. They did a magnificent job of giving the passengers an adventure to remember! We were able to watch a storm roll in as they swept us to the other end of the island. Yeah, we got rained on a bit - but they were extremely attentive to all the passengers. They stopped for about 30-40 minutes at the shallow sand beach with the sting rays and another 30-40 minutes at a reef (which was deep) but the water was clear and for novices, it was amazing!! The last stop was at their private beach for a burger, chips and a drink and enough time to try out their giant inflatables on a sandy beach. Cocktails, sodas, and water flowed freely through half the trip. We had an amazing time with this crew and greatly appreciated all of them! Especially when my son freaked out about a jelly fish, the boatman offered to take him back to the Catamaran and give him a soda and that let me snorkel a little more and enjoy the moment. Much love for this bunch and for being such a...
Read moreThis was a great adventure for my family. I had a 12 & 8 year that . The crew were so nice, very involved, and helpful. The ride out was pretty smooth, and we got to sit up and soak in the sun. We arrived at the first stop, which was snorkeling, and 2 months later, my boys are still talking about what they saw and how much fun it was. Then we went to Stingray Island, and we did see 3. And the water was very shallow and great for snorkeling. Then we went and had lunch at fury beach, the hamburgers were very tasty.
The way back was pretty rough waves, but we managed.
The one thing I would say is these catamaran tours are really for adults at the end bc of the drinking. I do wish they had more options for sober or kid friendly tours. Bc let's be real, no kid or sober adult wants to see a grown man drunk falling all over the place, spilling beer and twirking all up on people.
All in all, it was a...
Read moreThe snorkel was a joke….. Absolutely nothing to see, 100 yards off the beach, was only 30 mins tops and definitely not a reef. You also have to follow around one of their guides and zero opportunity to swim around on your own. We’ve also done the “Fury” in Key West and that one is awesome. They let you swim around and actually take you to see something.
Their private beach was nice and my kid did love the water slides.
The trip was okay but I wouldn’t recommend it nor would I come back to this...
