Claiming to be a 4 star ⭐ - in reality, a 2 1/2-3 star ⭐. I would have said this MAY be a 4 star for Mexican standards but our Mexican friends were a little bit shocked at the quality of furniture (some plywood) and upkeep and really the construction. Not 4 star - at least not our room. #2204 We were paying for a "king size" bed and got 2 uncomfortable twin/single mattresses shoved together with a king size mattress pad and sheets. The seam where the mattresses meet felt like a mountain peak that you didn't want to cross. Construction: The climate control is a standing unit in the living room corner. The reveal of the soffit above the TV goes from maybe 1 1/2 inches to maybe 3 inches very noticeable. We're looking at it for hours when in bed. We're in bed mostly because the living room furniture is so uncomfortable. The chair in the bedroom is the most comfortable furniture piece - including the bed as is 2 uncomfortable twin single mattresses shoved together. The kitchen cabinets are quite high. Difficult to reach with out a stool or step ladder which is not provided. The pendant lights are at different heights - someone didn't know how to use a tape measure, I guess. Maintenance: Burned out lightbulbs over the dining area. Large crack in the bathroom sink countertop. Grout gaps in the shower Bathroom door splitting apart from moisture. Dents in various walls around the unit. Tile issues in the 1/2 bathroom. Both toilets had problems flushing. Kitchen cabinets rub on each other again on the microwave. Not adjusted- sagging. Kitchen garbage can has no lid. The shower shelf sags. Water dispenser in the fridge that doesn't work. The "wood" flooring is pealing and separating at some joints. There are 2 other pillows in a closet. No pillow cases. Interestingly, there are 2 irons and 2 hair blow dryers. 1 each still in the box- or I assume so. The toilet paper is.... just hard - brutal even. The plastic dishes need to be replaced - some things seem burnt into them. A bit of a problem only having 1 towel each (2 towels) and no room service. Though there is an in room washer and dryer, I'm not going to buy a bunch of clothes washing supplies for a 4 night stay. This was just a start. I'm assuming the owner doesn't have a clue about the maintenance issues. As it's a large hotel/ apartment complex. The welcoming staff was very helpful. We couldn't get Gabriela to respond to our Whatsapp message asking how clean the unit needed to be (I guess you have to clean your own place???) I bring up this issue while the maintenance is already lacking. The welcoming staff or security told us to just "take out the garbage bags". Never heard of doing that at a hotel apartment. I still give it 3 stars instead of 2 because it has a pretty view; the general appearance both inside and outside is nice. I have been to an advertised 4 star ⭐ in Turkey by the Mediterranean that was, at best a 1 1/2 star- so maybe I am expecting too much from my first hotel/apartment in Mexico City. I just expected more. As extra, no charge recommendations from me: 1. Bidet attachments added to toilets. Mexico City is cosmopolitan. Some of us expect them and they are rather inexpensive and easily installed. 2. Add a reverse osmosis water dispenser. Could even be extra charged with a code unlock system. If you are catering to longer term rentals- more than a day or two, I would pay extra for not having to lug water jugs from stores, taking up lots of space in the fridge or shelving AND most of all worrying about whether I'm going to run out because I forgot to pick some water up. 3. Have the floor installation crew trim the door jambs. What they did looks like a hack job to MOST people who live in decent housing back home

Llamamos repetidas veces a recepción y Supervision y no solucionaron nada.
