We have taken many tour buses around the world and this was by far the worst! The staff are rude and provide you with different information with the same questions. We bought a two day pass (in most cities, it's 48 hours but not here - if you buy your ticket at 4pm, it ends at 7pm the same day and not 4pm the next day like every other company), and the woman who sold us the tickets placed these paper bracelets on our wrists, which she said was waterproof, and said it would be the only thing we'd need to board the bus. We got on and did one loop on the red line (the purple line bus wasn't running for those 2 days but no discount was offered). The next day we got on the green line bus with no issues and got off at a stop where the driver was taking a break. As the red line bus had arrived we went to get on that bus instead and a female attendant asked us for our sales receipt. We said we didn't have it because another attendant had told us that we just needed the bracelet we were wearing, which had the information including date of expiry on it. She checked the date and yet said no! You're not allowed on this bus. We tried to reason and she said we had to pay again. We got off the bus, walked back to the green line bus we'd just been on. The driver said OK and then another attendant ran and asked for our receipt (the female attendant from the other bus sent him). We got off the bus, had to walk back to the hotel, find the receipt and then wait for another bus.
Most of the plugs to listen to English version of tour didn't work properly. They also keep changing routes if there's issues with traffic so likely stops will be missed. Once you get dropped off, you will have to take a taxi back to where you'd like to go as buses simply stop running if they feel like it and don't run on the "Every 30 minutes" promised on their website.
If you can find another tour bus, definitely don't waste your time...
Read moreTour to Teotihuacan, the city of the Gods. I scheduled my tour with Alejandra, she was friendly, professional and gave me an amazing customer service. The tour itself was fantastic, the price was around 40.00 us dollars for a trip that lasted from 7:00 am to 3:45 pm. We made pit stop at Tlacomulco the city of the three cultures, we also drove next to El Zocalo, made another pit stop to get breakfast and of course while everyone went to the gas convenience store and Italian coffee shop, I located the closest street vendor to get my breakfast there. When we finally arrived to Teotihuacan, we saw a ceremonial ritual called Voladores de Papantla which was pretty awesome. The we walked about 2 Kilometers and we went from one platform to the next. We saw the Sun pyramid and the Moon pyramid. The site is breathtaking. Our driver and our tour guide Joel and Josue were amazing. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable gave the tour both in Spanish and in English. He was so patient, I had a million and ten questions and he answered every single one of them. Overall it was ana amazing day. FYI, bring a hut, sun block and great tennis shoes and be prepared to walked at least 2 Kilometers. The happy hour included the most amazing pulque which was freshly made, very soft not throat burning tequila and a sweet cactus liquor. I dont really drink and I found most of the...
Read morePlease avoid if you can and use another!! Worst hop on hop off service ever experienced and I have used this service in many cities around the world. No way to track routes; the bus always runs late compared to frequency; routes are often changed; the staff working on the routes are the most incompetent people who actually don’t care about answering your questions. One even moved me to the back of the queue to allow locals/ Spanish-speaking first even though I stood next to her and waited for the bus for 45mins before others. The staff are rude! Due to protests in the city I was stranded by this bus service in mid-service and I enquired about other options to get to my hotel I just got a don’t care attitude...
