This review is for Patricia (Patti) and one of the most healing and comforting experiences I’ve ever had with a massage therapist. Patti is not just a massage therapist.. she is a space holder, a listener, an energy worker and filled to overflowing with gentle and pure compassion. She is an angel. I came to Luum in somewhat distress. A year ago I was called into my mission and life purpose and I have been traveling in Mexico in meditation, with little communication with the outside world ever since. With my main focus to maintain a calm and balanced nervous system while allowing life force energy/kundalini to safely move up through my crown chakra. I have had a history, years ago, with seizures. The deeper my mediations became, the more the flow of life force was attempting to emerge up and through my crown and I was suddenly experiencing extreme resistance and distress that led to seeking massage therapy in hopes it would help move this energy safely. By the time I met with Patti, my breathing and body/heart had become so tensed and anxious I was beginning to panic. After incredible massage work (she is so gifted), this divine woman allowed me to weep in her arms as my body released tension from my heart. She took time to listen to me, she showed incredible compassion all in complete calmness and reassurance that all was well. She also introduced me to the resting savasana pose, reclining star pose. I was able to sleep when I got home because of this position and have been periodically incorporating it into my days ever since. It is amazing how much more gentle and paced the life force energy now feels as it slowly completes its activation. I feel calm, trusting and at peace. Patti’s assistance and connection in this stage of my practice was the catalyst to furthering opening my heart chakra and allowing the expansion to my crown without fear. My gratitude to her is filled to overflowing and always will be. She is true light worker and I am forever blessed to have been on her table and to receive the gifts of her healing hands and heart. I've traveled all over the world and everywhere I go I enjoy massage especially after traveling on a plane and I have sore tired back and muscles. I came across this place on Google and researched their website which was well presented and their services were concise and easy to navigate. I was able to contact them through WhatsApp. I received a response very quickly and proceeded to book appointment the same afternoon.

Thier location was conveniently located in the center of Playa del Carmen just off 5th Avenue. Three beautiful ladies were waiting at the entry of the spa for me to arrive where I received a warm greeting unpreceded upstairs to their eco-friendly style quality spa presentation with the beautiful reception area on the second floor.

EDI my massage therapist was warm and friendly and had different service options available for me to choose from. she was able to accommodate with speaking English, thank you Edi. I choose the Mayan massage service which was a fusion of several different techniques.

The room was fresh and clean and had lovely lighting and soft music to relax to. I was taken by surprise with how amazing the massage was as they used several different techniques to revive tired sore muscles and especially sore feet from walking. I also enjoyed aromatherapy which was included in their services. She is definitely an expert I have not received a massage like she had provided for me. I'm not one to give out compliments unless they are well deserved, this place and staff are truly the best! You will not regret booking a service here as this is my go-to place every time...

Update to my review: They reached out and did what they could to make things right for being cut short and the bad facial. I requested Marcos and it did not disappoint. I would request Marcos for any and every service and you will be happy.

Chocolate ritual with Marco was wonderful. It included exfoliation, wrap, massage. I love that they stretch you during the massage too. It was amazing. On to the facial: worst facial ever. Not sure who the lady is that did it as she didnt say anything to me and i opened my eyes and was surprised it was someone else. It felt like she was just poking at my face. It was supposed to be a 90 minute facial. It was cut 45 minutes short and had to pay for the whole thing. My appt started at 2pm and should of went until about 5:30.
