We booked a 2-week trek in Upper Mustang in December 2024 and we were lucky enough that Shankar was our guide. The trek was very well organised according to our wishes and what places we wanted to see. Upper Mustang is a beautiful place full of interesting people, 100% worth visiting. Shankar had a good relationship with the local tea houses and he was able to arrange everything we needed so we were always comfortable! A huge benefit was that Shankar was very knowledgeable about the history, geography and culture of the region, and he was able to communicate really well in English. He was extremely helpful whenever we needed anything and always made sure we were taken care of. We also really appreciated the help of our amazing porters, Miley and Smiley...

We had an amazing time in Upper Mustang. I’m a documentary photographer and our guide Shankar had gone out of his way to create opportunities for beautiful photographs. He had spoken to the locals and explained what we were doing, putting them at ease and allowing us to get amazing photos.

I have travelled to many remote places and had the pleasure to work with many fixers but Shankar stands out as one of the best for his amazing interpersonal skills.

Upper Mustang insightful experience. Good knowledgeable guide who did all he could to accommodate us. We had a few breathing difficulties due to altitude ( and me, with some respiratory infection), and Shankar, the guide reorganized the tour in a more accessible way for us at the moment.
