I have been a frequent customer here and I love going here everytimeđ€. You are welcomed with a beautiful pond with koi fishes which is really eye-catching! I find the place to be very calm and aesthetic too, in terms of other restaurants, great for taking pictures! The interiors of the restaurant are visually pleasing and the seats are comfortable đ„°.
Majority of the time, I come here with a bunch of my friends whenever we decide we want to have Korean cuisine and we enjoy our visit. For 3 or less people visiting, I'd say looking for other restaurants would be great if 'price' is your main concern.
We usually order the same dishes everytime we go here. and I want to honestly appreciate the Rappokki (Korean rice cakes) that they serve here. You get a relatively huge portion of rice cakes that's rich in flavour for the price you pay, which EASILY could be enough for 3 whole adults, an instant fan of the dish!đ€© I don't have problems in terms of flavour with other dishes that they serve, like the Kimchi fried rice, Korean Fried Chicken, and Samgyeopsal, it's well made and I recommend you to give it a tryđ.
However, I would like it better if they would slightly increase the quantity of pork in Samgyeopsalđ, i feel like the quantity isn't justified for the price I pay.
There's parking available for 2 wheeler vehicles just outside the restaurant premises, but it's paid parking, I'm unsure for 4 wheeler vehicles. Always had a good time here, giving a 4/5â because there's always room for...
Read moreCute little place but the service from the beginning was bad and the activities of the manager behind the bar were a turn-off. This restaurant had a cute date-like atmosphere. From the moment we were escorted to the table, right next to the bar, it took 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. There were only a few other tables occupied so it wasnât too busy. There were many employees walking around but no one checked on us. Once we ordered, the drinks and traditional Korean side dishes came out. They were good, Iâve definitely had better kimchi and tofu. The jokbal was very good though, the sauces were flavorful and the lettuce fresh. The service was a let down unfortunately. The music at the beginning of the dinner was fine but it was turned off for a while and then turned on very loudly the rest of the evening. What really stood out though (as we sat at one of the tables close to the bar) was the manager continuously smoking hookah behind the bar, which was pretty unprofessional...
Read moreWas completely disappointed with the food here.
The original fried chicken we ordered doesnât taste like Korean fried chicken at all. It was just plain, tasteless fried chicken with too much batter! Korean fried chicken usually has a thin batter. There were also no wings. Chicken was super dry inside. Couldnât finish the chicken as it was that bad.
The banchan (side dishes) were not up to standard as well especially the kimchi, it was lacking in taste and didnât feel fresh.
Samgyeopsal (bbq pork) was below average too, usually most good Korean bbq restaurants have really good quality pork.
Lastly, the rice (which is a really important part too) was just dull and not fragrant, not the typical high quality short grain/multi grain rice you get at Korean restaurants.
I wish I didnât have to give this place such a bad review but we were craving some Korean food and wanted to try it here in Kathmandu, but regretted trying...
