Korean Kitchen Picnic — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

It was my fourth time visiting this place. They have renovated the place and it looks better now. We had ordered Pork Dolsot Bibimbap, Tuna Kimbap and Spicy Fried Chicken. Food was good and fulfilling as usual but we had a slight inconvenience. The place was packed today as there were Korean guests. So we seated at a nice corner. First no one came to take our order even after being there for quite some time. Secondly when our order arrived we were served only one serving of Kimchi for three people. We had ordered three dishes and that one serving of Raddish Kimchi was all we got as side dish.I had requested the staffs there twice for the kimchi but we never got any. It's totally understandable that there were other guests but there were enough staffs too. It felt as if they were focusing more on the Korean guests which made us feel bit unwelcomed. The staffs should be trained well for situations like this. We did give a feedback about the kimchi situation to the one who seems like the manager of the place. He did apologize and was really humble. He was the one who actually asked if anyone was there to take our order.Regardless this whole situation was bit unpleasant for us. TLDR: GLASS IN MY FOOD, NO SINCERE APOLOGY

Went a couple of times, was okay. But today i got a GLASS ON MY FOOD. There was a small piece of sharp glass piece on the food and luckily my friend spit it out. He got a minor mouth injury. hat if he had swallowed it and gotten some major health problems. What if it was a child instead of my friend. If it was a piece of plastic or a small pebble, I would have just let them know and continued to eat but glass is a major health issue.

I was furious to see such a hazard on my food and called upon the waiter. All they had to say was sorry and let me take the glass. There was no sincerity in their apology and all they wanted was to hide the evendence of their mistake as soon as possible. I called upon the manager and he too was pouring out an apology that didn't seem sincere at all.

I along with my friends stormed out to the reception. My friends wanted to pay for the food but I didn't want to pay someone that served us glass. I am never coming back, nor are my friends and acquaintances and I will make sure that the word spreads out through social media. Hire someone who is responsible enough to not make such life...

We recently visited this place with smiles on our face but it turned out to be our worst nightmare. Never felt this discriminated in my own country as the service was too different to foreigners and us Nepali . The food was average at best . The staff were unapologetic and wouldn’t take the issue seriously. We never got our prawn tempura even though we waited for a long time and didn’t get any side dishes on our order firstly but got only two small servings of radish kimchi after asking for 3 times. The staff was dismissive but the cashier was humble and was the only one that tried helping and ease the situation. Even though we spent a very good amount on the food the service was very much disappointing. Unless the issues are addressed respectfully I can’t recommend this place to anyone...
