When you head towards the botanical gardens from the beach, you eventually end up choosing beween two paths. 1 goes up into the gardens while the other leads to the Harbour View Walk. This track goes around the Botanical Gardens towards the lake front so it gives very beautiful views of the area around Lake Wakatipu, including the main Queenstown town center. It is a very gentl and flat walk with areas to sit and enjoy the views. You are also able to walk up into the gardens but pay attention to the disc golfers since you need to pass through the course to get there.
