Absolutely Terrible Service and Quality

If I could give zero stars, I would. My mum and I came here for sundaes, expecting a simple dessert, but what we got was a complete joke.

First, the soft serve was practically liquid—completely melted and not remotely frozen. We could even hear the machine making strange noises that shouldn’t be happening. When my mum’s sundae was finally done, two major things were wrong:

The soft serve wasn’t frozen and was turning to liquid immediately. She asked for sherbet and was given licorice instead—how do you even mix those up?

She asked for a refund and explained that the machine clearly wasn’t working properly. She knows this because she used to work as an ice cream vendor and understands soft serve machines. Instead of addressing the issue, the employee got defensive, making up excuses about how “this machine is different.” Then, to top it all off, he threw in an unnecessary comment about how my mum must be “used to McDonald’s” because she’s a bit chubby. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional.

We got our refund, but the experience was awful. The service was rude, the quality was garbage, and the staff don’t even know basic topping names—it’s sprinkles, not “sprinklers” or “rainbow dust.” If this place keeps running like this, it won’t last long. Never...

Went in to buy soft serve sundaes after dinner and was served milky slop. I asked for sherbet, the guy cut up a raspberry liquorice bar and scattered that into the cup in lieu of actual sherbet. When I challenged the store clerk about the fact the soft serve was not set, he argued that I’m used to McDonald’s, the machine is different, argued that the reason the soft serve was liquid was because it was served in a cup and “would be different in a cone”, said I was wrong but then followed that up with “you can wait 15mins”, I assume for the soft serve to churn. He eventually offered a refund because I wasn’t going to concede. Overpriced, horrible customer service and as he issued the refund insulted me. Rude for literally ZERO reason, won’t be back - I live local and shop local, but will encourage everyone to go elsewhere. This...

Bro makes insane good coffee. Got a big frappe for around $6.00, super delicious and great value for money. A variety of drink options there if coffee isn't your thing; smoothies, milkshakes etc., on top of all the typical convenience store products. Comfortable seating IN STORE and the guy who worked there, at least when I went in, was super friendly and accommodating. The place is pretty new and it's a fresh perspective in a very populated area of food service and convenience stores. Will be going...
