I had a great tour in Sydney through the same folks, so when I got to Auckland I knew the right tour to check out! Our guide (Raru, I believe) was incredible - not only was he friendly, but also had great detail for each piece of Auckland's story. He cracked some jokes, but also was incredibly knowledgeable about so much regarding NZ and Maori, and he engaged with everyone very genuinely. The tour is long enough to really get a great picture of Auckland, between walking through the city itself but also allows coverage of a lot of history/info over the several hours.
