Terrible shopping experience in Max new market. I paid for a dress on 27th of March and until now i still did not get my dress! The shop is trying to put the responsibility to the clients for a lost package. When I paid for the dress and the sale said they do not have the size at the moment, she asked me write down the information and promised sent the dress to me before next week Friday. I asked her how can I know when the dress will arrive to me, the sales said she will either text me or email me the tracking no once she post the dress. No massage or email from the shop since then. I went to the shop to ask when I could get me dress. The lady worked in the shop said they already post the dress to me, if I did not receive it I should contact post office not them. I ask for the details regarding the delivery and found out MAX did post without signatures required. As well as they did not sent me any tracking no. Later I was talking to the manager and explained it this is their fault and they should either credit back 169.99nzd back to me or give me a new dress. But unfortunately they refused and said they need to investigate the case first. My God, I have no idea what kind of customer service is. When clients did not receive the package they first trying to refuse to take the responsibility, later even they admitted the fault and mistake but refuse to give customer back the money or the produc directly. I was waiting for my dress for three weeks now. Not sure how long I have to keep waiting for their investigation. But I will trying not to shop in MAX any more. There are much better design in trenery with better quality for the similar price. Terrible...
Read moreBought a t shirt, had some marks on the fabric, the sales person told me she could get another one for me, she would call me to go pick it up. Waited a few days, got the call 3 days ago, went to pick it up today. When I get home I check the t shirt, it is the SAME I didn't want last time... it is a shame you have such a DISHONEST employee. Not only she lied but she also made me go another day to pick up the same t shirt that I could have taken the first day. I have bought many times from Max, I guess I won't be going back to the Westfield Newmarket store...AVOID...

Took shirt back as wrongly sized ( I had bought 2 the same style / same size different colours yesterday but only tried the other one on as assumed 2nd one would fit). My feedback on incorrect sizing seemed to fall on deaf ears and her concern was more whether I had damaged the shirt I wished to exchange for the correct size. Left feeling rather un cared about as a customer and as if I was trying to pull some sort of ‘swifty’! The staff I dealt with for the original purchase...
