Had the Greek Kitchen today. Very disappointed. Staff move very slowly. I ordered two simple salad bowls as takeaway and they took forever. I just kept watching them take their time; they work like they are on holiday. They have serious communication problems. I said I wanted extra lamb and the staff member had to keep repeating that same instruction to another staff member. I also said I wanted it as a takeaway and they brought the food to me in dine-in bowls. I then told the lady to change it into takeaway and she slowly took her time doing it. They have no sense of urgency. I also don't understand why it took them so long when they have three staff. Their food is overpriced. My bowls costed $16.50 and $15.50 before adding extra meat to both bowls at $4 each. Both bowls still didn't have that much meat anyway. I suggest they cut their costs. They don't need three staff with two of them doing nothing. Also, while they were taking their time preparing my meal, other potential customers walked by and they weren't catered to because they were so busy preparing my two dishes. The staff are slow movers who make simple food but take forever to do things. I understand that English may be their second language but that does not justify poor communication and poor service. At least have some basic fluency in English. Hire someone who has English as their first language if worst comes to worst, and don't just take your time doing things. Nothing good justified their expensive prices. Their food may be healthy but they need to be better than this or else their restaurant has no place in our new beautiful Westfield...
Read moreHard to find places that are this good! I rarely crave certain dishes or restaurants, and I’ve come here about 5 times, mostly for the Olympus platter shown in the photos. I’ve also gotten the platter with the chicken and a lamb wrap.
Everything is so extremely delicious, and amazing value for money as the portions are extremely generous. Truly so rare. I am also not one usually impressed with salads, so the fact that every salad I’ve had from here is addicting is saying something.
The lamb and chicken are both super succulent and fall apart, the sides are great, so fresh and flavourful, and everything is amazing value for money, very rare for the quality of food. The second time we went they had warmed up the flatbread which made a massive difference. The dips are flavourful and fresh, tahini dressing on the cauliflower salad is delicious, the chunk of crispy halloumi is so good.
The complimentary hot tea is also such a nice addition that I haven’t seen many places. Very high quality of food, service, and bang for your buck. Will keep coming back here are trying more things for sure, but the Olympus will always be a...
Read moreFinally, a Greek place that's close to me and really delicious if I do say so myself. Wasn't a fan of the baba ganoush though :o( it wasn't as smoky as I like it. Despite this I will most definitely be going back here to satisfy my Greek food cravings! I think I ordered the alpha plate with lamb and I would certainly order it again. Looking forward to going here again to hopefully sit at the dining table.
Well I finally got to sit at the dining table! A bunch of friends and I came here for dins and I ordered the moussaka, a couple of falafels and the rice bowl with lamb. My meal was really tasty but could've been piping hot. I couldn't finish my moussaka so took the rest home. I'm already thinking about the next time I'm going back. Also, the complimentary tea is delish.
Ordered the fish and chips and was disappointed - thought it would be crumbed and come with a wedge of lemon. Could tell that it wasn't prepared in house - not a great taste and was soaked in oil. Won't be ordering it again so will just stick to the lamb, chicken or...
