Generic, Impersonal and not suitable for those looking for authentic experience. Do You get the whales - yes, I think like everyone else. Do you get anything else special - no. But when we booked this tour, we knew it would be a large generic , non cozy group so it met our expectations,

I do highly recommend everyone to book any fjord and whale watching cruise in Tromso because this place and the sights are just beautiful. If you manage to find a more cozy, smaller setting go for it, we were just too lazy to search for more so we booked the first thing that fell on our lap. My experience with Rødne Fjord Cruise in Tromso was incredible. During the full day cruise we were able to spot several whales. The customer service and expertise demonstrated by the guides further enhanced the trip, as they shared valuable insights about the marine life we encountered. I highly recommend bringing warm clothes and gloves as you'll spend around 20-30 minutes outside once you reach the whale sighting location. While the journey to and from the destination was lengthy, and the actual whale watching time was relatively brief, but the stunning views of the fjords and landscapes along the way more than made up for it. Probably the best tourist day trip of our lives. And amazing value too. We went on Valentine’s Day 2025, looked after by the amazing Daniel and Lucia. These two make the trip even more amazing than it already is.

Lucia, thank you so much for the restaurant recommendation and for the Northern Light insight, we did indeed get to see them by the lake as you suggested. It was amazing,

The Fjord cruise is spectacular, my words couldn’t do it justice. If you are in Tromsø, book this trip - don’t hesitate and miss out. We sailed on the 11am trip. You will see soooo much.

We booked the whale watching tour and unfortunately had the misfortune of not seeing any whales on the first day because the waves were very high - up to 4 meters and we therefore did not quite reach our goal seeing whales. Thanks to the guarantee, we took part on the tour again two days later and saw humpback whales towards the end of the tour - a great experience that we will be happy to repeat next time. The crew was very friendly and helpful, our female tour guide gave us a lot of interesting information about the whales. Our special thanks go to the lady who took care of the coffee and catering for the guests - a real treasure.
