I recently visited Olhallen microbrewery and was blown away by the amazing selection of beer they offer! With 50 different choices of beer, there was something for every taste and preference. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. One of the things I loved most about Olhallen was the opportunity to make my own flight of stouts. I'm a big fan of stouts, and being able to try a variety of them in one sitting was a dream come true! Each stout was unique and flavorful, and I appreciated the opportunity to try so many different varieties. Overall, I would highly recommend Olhallen to any beer lover looking for a great selection of beer and a fun and friendly atmosphere. The ability to make your own flight of stouts is a truly unique and exciting experience that sets Olhallen apart from other microbreweries. I can't wait to visit again and try even more of their delicious beer!

When I first visited early in the week it was very quiet so seemed enormous and lacking in atmosphere. I was drawn though by the massive range of Scandi beers on tap. I came back again on a Friday to sample some of the styles. The place was buzzing, albeit with some cruise tourists. I like my sours and wild-ferments, and there was plenty for me to choose from. Couldn’t fault them, and enjoyed them immensely. The staff member who served me seemed knowledgeable, and her recommendations suited me down to the ground. For a UK person who typically enjoys great craft beer in the UK at about £25 equivalent per pint, the prices here seem to be about £25-£28 based on my selections so I am happy.

During my recent visit to this bar, I was deeply attracted by its unique charm. The fusion of a German beer hall atmosphere with a selection of 50 craft beers was impressive. The small batch brewing equipment in sight not only showcases the craftsmanship in brewing but also adds a special touch. The staff's ability to speak multiple languages, including English, Norwegian, and Spanish, made the environment exceptionally welcoming. The American rock music playing in the background added a modern vibe to your establishment, the oldest bar in Tromsø. This bar is not just a perfect blend of tradition and modernity but also the best place in town for a craft beer experience.

This is a nice brewery in Tromso. It's a bit outside of the downtown area, but still an easy walk to get there. The inside has a bit of an Irish pub feel. It's dimly lit with a lot of wood. They also have some fake Arctic animals on display which is an interesting touch. They have a huge selection of beer and cider. My husband got a milkshake IPA which he still says it's good favorite beer he's ever had. I got a cider which was also very good. The taproom itself is pretty big. There are tons of tables to sit at while you enjoy a drink. This is a definitely a good place to stop for a drink while in Tromso and I would recommend it to others!

Strongly recommend it if you are a beer lover. Location: Olhallen is in a central location right across Polaria. The citu bus leaves you a block away. Athmosphere: It has an authentic "viking feeling" (this is my first time in Nordic countries). You can see people from their mid-20s and up. Selection: Olhallen has a wide selection. You can choose from about 50 beers, and a few, ciders. You can also choose a sampler. They dont have food. You can buy chips, peanuts and their traditional dried fish. Price: Depends on the beer you order.

A very colorful and good place to visit with friends!) More than 70 types of beer are at your service) located in the center of Tromsø) beer costs from NOK 60 to 250 for 0.5. There is a huge polar bear in the hall for photo shoots))) I liked the music (classic rock), the disadvantages include the fact that they do not take beer out ((there are also board games, but the choice is small and the games are not in very good condition .. in general, if you are lucky to come to Tromsø recommend to try this pub !!))
