Don’t even know where to begin! Amazing little place that we came across thanks to Tripadvisor on the first day of our short trip to Tromso. We loved it so much, we came back for lunch for the next two days! The Norwegian fish soup is the best that we’ve had in our time in Norway - it was rich and flavourful, with a generous amount of ingredients. The homemade crab cakes are amazing as well - crab meat aplenty, but still light with a nice crisp on the outside. Needless to say, we ordered the crab cakes and the soup twice during our time in Tromso. The other things on the menu did not disappoint either. Tortellini was lovely, and the cakes were incredible. My personal favourite was the blackforest - I dare say it is the best blackforest cake I’ve tasted to date. Thank you to the very lovely staff for the incredible and memorable dining experience in this homely little cafe. If ever I find myself back in Tromso, I’m most definitely coming back for a meal!

First time in Norway and glad to have found this cafe on Google maps and with really well written reviews and pictures. Went with my husband, we had the omelettes and fish soup with coffee latte and iced latte. You'd think the food looks unseasoned but it is well seasoned enough to feel it's balanced. The omelettes are very soft but cooked through, vegetables and the soft bread with crispy crust helps fill out the meal. Fish soup is creamy with some salty taste, dip the bread provided and enjoy. The coffee doesn't have sugar and it really doesn't need it unless you like it sweeter. Coffee tastes much smoother and I feel not as astringent or bitter like in Singapore. Friendly owner, great service. Don't come here if you're in a rush as the food takes time to cook. Prices are no different than if you're dining in Singapore. Good food, can wait.

Fantastic gluten-free pancakes available! I’m not sure if they forgot my order or if they make the GF pancakes from scratch but it took at least 20 minutes for the pancakes to arrive at my table. I saw folks come in after me, get their orders and almost finish their meal before I got my dish. Nonetheless, the cottage cheese pancake with orange peel came out piping hot and flipping delicious. The pancake itself was just lightly sweetened and the flavor of the orange peel was rather refreshing. The portion size was also surprisingly generous. Latte was serviceable and there was plenty of seating available in the front of the cafe as well as in the separate room in the back. The staff were also generally pretty friendly. Overall a great option for a casual brunch in Tromso!

Editing my previous review on Google because a better description is well-deserved. We initially ducked in here upon arriving in Tromsø and were very pleased to get a delicious warm meal from friendly staff. Ordering at the counter is convenient and made for an easy experience when jumping between scheduled tours. Atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant. We ended up coming back here twice more before leaving town, and every single dish we ordered was very delicious and high quality, including the hot chocolate, coffee, chicken soup, fish soup, stroganoff, chicken pasta, pelmeni, omelette, and salmon baguette. The homemade bread and herb butter served with the soups (or for breakfast) is particularly amazing. Highly recommend stopping by here for a comforting,...
