Samgyupsalamat — Restaurant in Makati

My first Korean BBQ so I can't really compare and so this would be my standard in terms of buffet korean bbq.

Why only 4*? Although the food and experience were great, you really would not want to wait for 2 hours to be seated when you are already hungry. To be fair, we came in late, 8:30pm and we are 31st in line (yay! But we opted to wait as we really wanted to eat here). We were seated around 10:30pm (Mabilis na ba considering we were 31st? Maybe most of them backed out.)

We tried to order everything in their menu (5 pork and 4 beef) but the crew told as that we can only order 2 at a time and so we did.

Long story short, we loved 6/9 of their menu -- P3, P4, P5 and B1, B3, B4. I don't remember the names (nor can't even read it properly, lol), thankfully they are numbered so ordering gets easier. Hehe

To sum it up: 5* - food 5* - service 4* - place 3* - waiting

The worst experience I’ve had on waiting for my food to be cooked, I don’t know if it’s the coals or the induction system but the cooking time was extremely long, way too long. So long that I was losing my appetite while waiting for each serving to be cooked. I would stay away from this place if you are really trying to eat or if you’re trying to just watch food you can’t eat because you’re gonna be waiting a long time for your food to be cooked. Never coming back here again, because there’s other places...

Great value Korean BBQ for 499 a head. Quality of the meats and sides surprised me at that price, although not the best you do get a lot for the price compared to non unlimited places. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The times I've gone they usually don't have pork in stock if that is a concern but the beef is better value for money anyways.

Only plain soju at this location.
