Everything you'd need is here.
✔ Restaurants - Ranges from inexpensive to moderate, you'd find most if not all, known fastfoods here like McDo, Jollibee, Chowking, KFC, etc. They also have the Food Gallery in the 3rd level that features many other food options.
✔ Cafe - Starbucks is almost everywhere nowadays.
✔ Shopping - They have tiangges, they have sports related shop, camp gear shops, music shops, electronics and gadgets shops, bookstore, pharmacy, appliance shops, home and office needs shop and a korean beauty shop.
✔ Cinema - Their cinema is located on the third level. I like that it's a small one. They rival Gateway's. I just don't know why they keep on going to Gateway cinema. I'd prefer Alimall cinema.
✔ Kid Activities - they have an activity center for kids on the lower ground floor.
✔ Banks/ATM - from Landbank, Unionbank, Security Bank, BPI. They have it here. Of course, BDO is just across the street. They also have an ATM bay but outside of the mall which may cause for a concern but would be convenient for closed mall hours if you emergency-need one.
✔ Government Satellite Offices - This is what Alimall is known for as of writing. They have DFA Satellite Office for passport processing, NBI, SSS, Philhealth, PAGIBIG, Postal service.
✔ Parking - Conveniently located on the side. Per floor.
I told you, again everything if not all, you can find here. They cater to low to mid class range. Not an upscale place. They have good airconditioning though so okay to roam around.
However, I only rated it 4 since they can do better on the mall's facilities. Such as upgrading their escalators, scary as hell, looks like would give up any minute. They can put up an elevator atleast for PWDs since government satellite offices are on...
Read moreAliMall has been one of the oldest malls in Quezon City, it is understandable that it still has that kind of vibe everytime I visited. However, during the years it has improved a lot, Passport Application and NBI Clearance are made accessible and faster in this branch as such Xerox and Printing services are also available nearby, so applicant does not need to fret on where to xerox copy or print their documents as part of their requirements, which is really cool compared to the DFA branch in Pasay where it gives an isolated vibe and you have no idea where to access the services you need. Furthermore, it has been connected to SM department store in the 3rd Level which made it a lot easier to switch between malls, since I find it daunting when it was still not, especially on rainy days or on a scorching hot weather. I used to have my matcha bingsu there sadly its close now. There are a lot foreign brands from clothes to restaurants compared to 5-10years ago, which gives a good variety when you want something aesthetically classic or trendy. The reason I can not give it a 5 star is, it still has a lot of room for improvement especially on its structure...
Read moreOne of the remaining old structures way back 70's..its good they have renovated some parts. While more new restaurants have opened on the ground floor, some shops on the upper floor have closed due to the pandemic.. some of the comfortrooms are upgraded..anyways, it now houses more satellite government offices like DFA, LTO, NBI, SSS, PhilHealth, QC treasury (we can now pay realty taxes more conviniently), and banks which makes it more accessible and convenient to residents surrounding the area.. I remembered the 3rd floor where the foodcourt, banks and gov't offices are located used to be a roller skating rink😊 (geezz I'm that old 😄). The moviehouse is somewhat old but its airconditioning is good. There is a connecting bridge on the 2nd floor leading to another one of the original department store in Araneta Center. A lot of shops to choose if you're on a shopping spree..from budgetted to good local brands up to some international brands. Outside stalls are restaurants and cafes where you can...
