Bica - Lg. Calhariz — Local services in Lisbon

We couldn't resist a ride on this funicular, so very cute and quaint. We didn't have to wait long to get on, but it felt a little too busy once everyone had boarded. We got on at the front where there was already one person, but once four more people followed without considering leaving space for the driver, I soon had a backpack in my face (the tall owner did not remove it so they could hold on and use their phone simultaneously) and I had no view or space to move. Not the fault of the service but since there was space elsewhere in the carriage, it could certainly have been helped by applying a maximum number of people to each section. Nasty ticket seller. When we tried paying with a €50 bill, he acted like he was doing us a favor accepting it. And he was entitled to round up and keep the change, unless we had exact amount. Very arrogant fellow! Why is this place not accepting...
