We had dinner yesterday evening in a nearly empty restaurant. The staff was very uninspired and seemed eager to go home. Our 5-course dinner including sherry-pairing was served in a hurry: while still eating the first course, they brought the second already, etc. Consequently, we also had to drink in a hurry. Last course, cheese, was brought, but no cutlery, no wine, because the lady was busy te texting on her telephone and had forgotten to bring it. We visited the restaurant 2 years ago and were enthousiastic then, now the experience was really bad. Would not recommend...

Excellent place to eat lunch!

This unique restaurant, which located near the "Fundador winery", is a spacious restaurant that offers two great menus (both food and alcoholic beverages) with very good prices.

I personally tried a few tapas, but they also have full dishes. I was highly satisfied with the service, the taste, and the size of the portion (which was pretty big for tapas).

Since it's close to the cathedral, its location is pretty central and I find this restaurant as a place to go back to.

Very...

We had the set rice menu after the tour of the beautiful winery. Great value considering the excellent food and setting. Everyone at Fundador was very friendly and considerate. Only minus, not many accommodations during the tour for the elderly. A bench or chair here and there would have been helpful. Good wheelchair access though.

We had lunch sitting in their peaceful outdoor garden. We ordered pheasant and pork loin. Both were very good and very good value. It came with sauteed vegetables (which is rare in our meals here in Spain) and roasted baby potatoes. Ordered 2 glasses of sherry. All for under €40! Amazing value and very well presented and delicious.

First of all- great brandy. Got the Fundador Supremo 12 and it was just excellent. Three stars because of the sheer audacity needed to serve the lemonade below and call it sorbete de limón. It’s not like they didn’t know what they were doing, there are straws instead of a spoon. Just tell us that you don’t have sorbet next time.
