Disastrous experience, started good with a beer and croquetas de jamon, which secured the 1 star mandatory on the food. After choosing from the menu our dishes, we were recommended some extra daily dishes, including a highly recommended Entrecote we chose. After a long wait, we received 2 entrecote, over cooked on the outside and raw on the inside (which is fine for my taste, but never seen such thick meat as dry as this), additionally the smell of the meat clearly indicated the cuts were not fresh, making the dish disgusting and unsafe to say the least. We couldn't eat more than a quarter of the dish and just asked for the bill, looking forward to getting over this experience, Here the last surprise, the dish alone, was charged 25€ each, which just added an horrible feeling of being scammed like never before in Spain. The restaurant has a nice environment. So we sat down and waited for a long time for the waiter to take our orders. The waiter told us that the specialty of the day is entrecôte, which we ordered. We waited for a long time again for the food to be ready. Luckily there was nice croquette we ordered. Finally when the entrecôte came we felt really frustrated because it smelled weird, like a meat that was going rotten. Cutting the first piece wasn’t a nice experience either since we saw it was not cooked at all. For this piece of meat and plain potato pieces we paid 25 euros. A party of 4 adults 2 children, put into the little back room. so can forgive the 30 minute + wait for food but as the food started to be served we each had to stare at our plates, waiting for the cutlery. We asked the next waitress bringing the next plates, but still no, eventually had to go and get the cutlery ourselves. ! Food was authentic, inventive, and delicious. And saved the day. Great coffee.
