Cindrela's — Local services in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

This is a quaint gift shop within the large Varadero Shopping Centre. As a lover of army shape caps and panama style hats, a small section within the shop caught my eye. Saw a very clever concept in an army shaped cap. The crown (the top portion of the cap) and the band (the strip around the circumference of the cap) both had small perforated holes throughout their surface. The peak (the stiff brim at the front) was not perforated. The detachable product label fastened to the cap read made in Italy but unfortunately the small label on the inside of the cap just read polyester, a bit disappointing as I hoped it was cotton for breathability purposes. This perforated idea reflected part of the concept on the UV50 panama hat I was personally wearing at that time with its perforated brim. So I adjusted the One Black hat they had and tried it. It fitted really well and was extremely comfortable, although the silver coloured buckle was a bit thin and on the sharp side. I purchased and wore it a few times during our stay and it proved a worthy purchase as it kept my head quiet cool in the 30+ degrees heat. On the last morning of our stay, I went back to the shop and purchased the only GREY version of the same perforated army cap. A great idea indeed, hopefully the manufacturer can make one using a natural fibre like cotton or linen and put made in Italy on the inside of the cap where the polyester label is.

Nice Place, this shopping center Went there to have a look and ended up spending big. If you are friendly, take your time and discuss prices for leather goods in a polite but firm way, you can get some great bargains. The clothing stores however seemed to be suffering from lack of customers and had some massive reductions already. Overall a great experience for all of our family, souvenirs were a little more expensive than elsewhere but a nicer and much wider range. Cindrela's was worth a visit, eventhough we didn't spend much money here, we got some nice knickknacks for our place. More pleasant in the morning. The shopping center heats up during the day,...
