My wife and I were lucky enough to have Önder as our tour guide for both the evening food tour and the Fener-Balat & Piere Lotti Hill walking tour. Önder was marvelous. We enjoyed the walking tour so much that we booked the food tour for the following day, upon Önder's recommendation.

We could not have been more happy with the content and scope of both tours, as well as the expert knowledge of Önder throughout both. Önder was extremely enjoyable to be with and provided us with such an amazing amount of interesting and relevant information on both tours. The sights and experiences on the walking tour as well as all of the food/beverages on the food tour were outstanding. I would absolutely recommend either one of these tours, or any tour led by Önder, as he is truly exceptional! Thank you for the wonderful experience, and thank you, Önder, for our time with you. Did a half day tour yesterday, which was convenient because we were only in town for a short time. Our guide was nice and knowledgeable, but the experience wasn’t worth the price paid. The tour started fairly early, and with only 2 other people, we felt that we’d have a chance to go with the flow a bit. Despite the tour we chose saying it’s for food lovers, there was no food other than the snacks we rushed to grab during the random, unclear break times. Our guide didn’t realize it was Sunday and the Grand Bazaar was closed, and I had to get us directions to the alternate market on my phone. He mentioned a restaurant near the bazaar since we were all hungry, but didn’t give us the name, and said he didn’t know if it was open.

My husband and I just did a small group food tour with Kubra as our tour guide, and we absolutely LOVED it. Absolutely one of the most favorite experiences throughout our entire trip. We ate delicious food, learned so much about the history/origins of the food and Turkish culture (including history, stories/folklore, and fun facts!), and explored the European and Asian sides of Istanbul. We thought that with the smaller tasting portions, we wouldn’t get so full but PHEW by the last 3-4 stops of the tour, we were getting soooo full. It was such an immersive experience and Kubra was a phenomenal host/guide. We can’t wait to come back and try some other tours through this...
