Wow, if you’re visiting Istanbul you MUST visit this wonderful restaurant! Amazing experience from start to finish. Upon arriving I received a very warm welcome from the staff, who were extremely accommodating and attentive throughout. Unfortunately my Turkish speaking is very minimal but this was not a problem as the kind gentleman who invited me in spoke great English and advised me of the various options laid out in their menu. Immediately after ordering the pide, I was presented with an array of sides, namely a beautifully seasoned mix of salad, roasted green chillies and bread and butter, as well as big jug of ayran; the freshly baked pide arrived shortly after. The portion sizes were ample, presentation was nice too and everything was delicious! After my meal, I was kindly offered çay which, to my surprise, was included in the cost of the meal - as were the starters! The price was extremely reasonable, excellent value for money, and the food, friendly service and atmosphere really were top class - I wish we had restaurants like this in the UK! If you are looking for a tourist-friendly, authentic Turkish dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend you put this place on your list. I will definitely be back here next time I...

Unfortunately the founder Sezai Amca has passed a way few years ago however his son who took over the place continue his legacy by keeping the high quality of the pides, generous portion of cheeses as topping as well as hospitable service. I am happy that they didn’t sacrifice the quality in order to have low prices to attract customers which is the case for many places. It is not cheap for market prices but I believe this is as low as you can go in order offer something with a good quality. Their kuşbaşılı (meat cubes, not minced) and kavurma (dried meat) pides are the best one in my opinion to be accompanied with a carafe of home made ayran. I will keep visiting this place whenever I am in the...

The staff and I believe the owner are extremely attentive, friendly and generous. From the moment we stepped in, we were offered the local salad, bread and chilli. We were also plied with yogurt drink and offered local tea at the end of the meal, all compliments of the restaurant. The bread is delicious and when we were almost done with the first one, the staff noticed and got the kitchen to prepare a fresh piece. Chicken skewers and the cheese pide tasted awesome. Would totally...
