BIG WARNING: LAPUTA Paraglide pick-up driver HIT US!

I want to warm everyone for the paraglide company Laputa in Oludeniz (Fethiye)

We started the paragliding activity by getting picked up by a grumpy pick-up driver. The driver racing up the mounting as a mad man on small roads without guardrails with a big bus with 20 people in the back. (feeling really unsafe) I traveled a lot in Azië and I am used to the relatively unsafe driving, but this was by far the most unsafe ride I ever experienced. Eventually up the mountain, we started our Paraglide activity. The paragliding was all fine, no complaints.

At the end of the paragliding activity, the driver was supposed to drop us off at the hotel where he picked us up. As we paid for the pick-up and drop off. After dropping off a couple of other customers he wanted to drop us off at a random bus station and refused to drop us off at the hostel he picked us up from. We told him we wanted him to drop off at the hostel. He still refused to do it. We contacted the hostel owner to speak with him on the phone. After shouting at her in Turkish, he gave back the phone and still refused the drop us off at the hostel. He then became aggressive started trowing our bags out of the bus and started dragging us out, and eventually hitting and grabbing on of my friends in the face. We ran out of the bus and screamed for the police for help, as the driver took off.

We ended the day in the police station submitting an official complaint. If you don't want to end your day at a police station I suggest you choose another paragliding company. There are a lot of other ones and they all charge the same price.

The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. A huge shoutout to my pilot, Bilal, who made the whole experience unforgettable. He was calm, reassuring, and clearly very skilled — I felt completely safe the entire time. He explained everything beforehand, made sure I was comfortable, and even added some fun twists and turns that made the flight thrilling but always under control.

One of the best parts was that Bilal took amazing photos and videos during the flight, capturing the stunning views and the whole adventure perfectly. Now I have beautiful memories to look back on and share with friends and family.
