Worst experience ever. I would definitely not waste your money or time or any efforts at this restaurant. It’s beyond unprofessional and inappropriate. After a long day of traveling we decided to go to this restaurant thinking it looked great however it was the complete opposite. We told the hostess that we were a party of 5 and right in front of us (mind you we speak fluent Turkish and English since we are from the states but live in Turkey) and she told her coworker in front of us “so do you think we should take them or not”. Beyond disgusting and wrong. Human less behavior. They started a yelling battle with my cousins and I because we heard them and said “excuse me did you really just say that in front of us”. 터키에서 사 먹는 음식이 다 별로라.. 실패 안하려고 오징어 튀김 시켰는데 (깔리마리 튀김) 심각한 쓴맛이 났어요. 오징어를 제대로 손질하지 않은 것 같은데 (튀기기 전에 내장이나 피를 제대로 제거하지 않으면 쓴맛이 날 수밖에 없음) 직원에게 물어보니, 이게 자기네 '스타일'이라며 누군가에게는 맛있을 수 있다고 하네요 ㅎㅎ 이딴 음식을 제공하면서, 고객의 입맛이 문제인 양 말하는 태도에 분노를 느낍니다. 환불을 해달라는 것도 아니었고 그냥 왜 쓴 맛이 나는건지 물어보려고 한건데 서버(name : carson)은 제대로 듣지도 않고 너네가 일단 먹기 시작한거니까 어쩔수 없다고 하는 태도도 웃기구요.. 이후 매니저 불러서 물어보니까 "응 우리 스타일이고 너네 말고 딴 사람한텐 맛있을 수 있어~" 답변 들은 겁니다. 평점 1점도 아깝습니다.

I've been disappointed with the food I've tried in Turkey, so I decided to go with something safe: fried calamari. However, the calamari had a severe bitter taste, likely due to improper cleaning (if the innards or blood aren't removed properly before frying, it inevitably leads to bitterness). When I asked the staff about it, they said it was their 'style' and that someone else might find it delicious. I was just trying to understand why the dish was bitter, not even asking for a refund, but the server (name: Carson) dismissed my concern, saying that since we had started eating, there's nothing they could do. Later, when I spoke to the manager, I was told, 'This is our style, and it might taste good to someone else.' The attitude of blaming the customer's taste rather than acknowledging the issue with the food is infuriating. Even giving 1 star feels too generous."

Türkiye'de yediğim yemeklerden pek memnun kalmadığım için bu sefer daha güvenli bir tercih yaparak kalamar kızartması (fried calamari) sipariş ettim. Ancak kalamar ciddi bir acı tada sahipti, muhtemelen kalamarın düzgün temizlenmemesi nedeniyle (kızartmadan önce iç organlar veya kan düzgünce çıkarılmazsa bu kaçınılmaz olarak acı bir tada yol açar). We ordered an Adana Kofte and Lamb chops. The lamb chops tasted amazing but the adana unfortunately was a bit tough. They offer sauces for sides although they could be a bit more generous. The prices are really affordable and fair compared to nearby restaurants. They serve the balloon bread as a starter with the sauces: buttery, turkish and a spicy one for free. Water and soft drinks have fair prices. Staff was friendly and they served salt and dressings along with our food without asking which was nice. Nice and calm atmosphere and quick food preparation.
