FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATE SCAM when paying with foreign bank card. NO CHOICE of currency offered when paying with card (contrary to what my receipt might suggest) - instead they automatically convert the card machine transaction to your home currency and do so very fast, discretely & at a poorer exchange rate. This scam adds about 3% to the bill for nothing - but you think they're doing you a favour by taking care of the exchange rate. Knowing this scam for years I asked waiter before paying my bill NOT to convert LIRA to GBP - but he still did and did so AFTER I entered my pin number (so I couldn't even abort the transaction). When I complained the waiter denied anything inappropriate & insisted "check your account". Venue & staff lacks integrity but wait, what's my problem? This is Turkiye afterall & therefore I should expect nothing less than to get ripped off at every opportunity. So it's all good - back...

We didn't really like this place. The food was nothing special and some of us felt quite sick when we got home after. We thought the food was quite overpriced as well, especially for the quality that you got. We found that some of the menus had different prices for the same items on them which got very confusing. The service was okay but we got an uncomfortable reaction from the server when we said that we weren't ready to order yet because we were waiting for a few people to arrive. We were also bothered by a guy coming to take pictures of people who looked like couples with no explanation given as to why and would be very insistent even when people said they weren't a couple or...

This was our second visit to the Tiki Roof Top bar and restaurant in around 5 days and we were really disappointed. Most Turkish dishes were crossed off the menu, and after asking the staff, they said " well we have good burger and chips, steak and chips or fish and chips!!!!!!! Why, oh why when in Turkey would I want to eat this garbage. My first review was really in recommendation of this eatery, however, I personally would strongly suggest that before you decide to dine, ask what is, or is not available. Based on tonight's misadventure, when we left without eating, I could not recommend going there, pity but they must ensure...
