We ate here twice during our 3 night stay in oludeniz. first for lunch and then for dinner.
We decided in a quick and light lunch after our paragliding excursion. We chose Sey (pronounced Shey) because it had a vast menu and many vegetarian options. The restaurant is a casual and has a “seaside” vibe. It’s situated with a clear view of the beach. There are many staff people who are constantly keeping things clean and attending to your needs; they all seemed to share responsibilities. We ordered plain nachos, which was just corn tortilla chips with melted cheese (exactly what we wanted). It’s served with a small side of guacamole, local tomato sauce and a yogurt sauce. It’s a basic dish but it definitely hit the spot for wanting something light and snacky. We also ordered falafel from the appetizer menu; there were about 8-10 small falafel served over a bed of greens and hummus. The texture was a little dense for the falafel, but they were tasty. The last thing we ordered was halloumi cheese. This is a popular cheese in Turkey and was served grilled on top of a leafy salad with a pomegranate vinaigrette. The lunch was a perfectly light meal for two people.
On our last night in Oludeniz, we decided to keep it simple and go with brick oven pizza. We ordered the classic Margherita pizza and a Taco pizza (without the beef). The pizza is cooked to perfection. It is super thin and melts in your mouth. Two pizzas were just the right amount for us; we only had two slices leftover. We didn’t feel overstuffed, but rather content. We ate dinner around 5:30pm, so the restaurant wasn’t full. Sey was setting up for live music that evening so we were able to enjoy a few pieces as the band tested the mics...
Read moreFirst time visiting Oludeniz, and I’m so glad I found this bar/restaurant close to the minibus and taxi stops! I just had to leave a review because I was really impressed with the service, friendly staff, cleanliness of the bathrooms, and the menu options. As someone who loves to explore alone and tends to revisit places I like, this spot is definitely going to be a regular for me. The chill atmosphere and live music are fantastic, and the view with outdoor seating is well thought out. I especially enjoyed sitting outside. Thanks to Figen for her attentiveness and for being so careful with the orders. I’ll definitely be back before my vacation ends. Highly recommend if you enjoy a relaxed vibe and live music.
