We were one of the unlucky traveler’s to get stranded in the Air Canada Strike Fiasco. Thankfully we booked at Villa Del Mar at the recommendation of a friend who previously stayed and after reading some previous reviews. The property itself is very clean, beautiful pool area, very private, the large updated rooms are comfortable, from the beds to the showers to the AC and kitchens. Laundry for a fam of 5 (3 kids) is a big bonus. Grocery store is a 11 min walk. Restaurants around the corner. Walk to Grace Bay beach is literally across the street through beautiful Grace Bay Hotel. Private umbrellas and chairs on the beach just for Villa Del Mar guest. They also have a small towel and water bar at the beach and only for Villa Del Mar Guests run by brothers Kerone and Lerone (apologies if I spelt it wrong) who are both awesome. Beach is one of the best I’ve been too. Quiet, spacious, sand is soft and water is warm. The best part about Villa Del Mar was the people. From General Manager Josalee, Manager Ruth and front desk help Olivier and the two very nice ladies that I can’t remember their names , the house keeping was great, everyone was really kind, helpful and you can see they care about guests and Villa Del Mar. When things got stressful when our flight was cancelled - twice - once because of Air Canada and once because the airport closed because of bad weather the staff was helpful in contacting our Air Canada rep, helping us re book a room for a longer stay, helped us deal with documents we required to show the airport was closed, and helped make recommendations for restaurant, shops, cafes ect. From my family to yours thank you to you all. I know sometimes we all work and think of what we all do as a job but you guys all really go above and beyond, you made our trip so much more memorable and comfortable for a family stranded far away from home for an entire extra week, your kindness made the uncertainty of not knowing when we would head back home that much easier. We will see you again.

Delmar Restaurant in Turks and Caicos is a true gem that I highly recommend! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, particularly from our server, Felonda, whose service was nothing short of exceptional. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was memorable. The food at Delmar was outstanding—definitely the best I had during my entire stay in Turks and Caicos. Each dish was expertly crafted, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It was clear that the chefs take great pride in their culinary creations. What truly sets Delmar apart is its breathtaking beachfront view. Dining with the sound of the waves and the stunning scenery made the meal even more special for our anniversary. Overall, Delmar exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return on my next visit to this paradise!

Beautiful property, tucked away right next to grace bay Beach front. Breakfast is available with pastries and fruit, fresh hot coffee, juices, milk, oatmeal, and that will fill you up. Beach chairs were available to sit in with no problem every property has them lined up so you have plenty of room. Plenty of restaurants and food trucks close by. You may really enjoy the bar and poolside because it's so nice and quiet here. It is wheelchair accessible, there was a guest staying while I was here who had no trouble. The rooms have dishes, washer and dryer, detergent, refrigerator, shower, deep bathtub for soaking, ac units and ceiling fans. Every room has a balcony it's very nice here.

We had such a wonderful stay at VDM! Incredible value at Grace Bay, we stayed in a Studio suite from July 27 - August 3, 2024:|- Across the street from beach access: a quick skip across the street with a 4min walk through the beautiful manicured and lush property of the Grace Bay Club (GBC) brings you to a section of beach dedicated to VDM. Fresh water, lounger chairs, umbrellas, with easy access to drinks and excursions are provided. Shout out to beach attendant Kerone, with the million-dollar smile, who kindly got our beach spots ready for the day. We loved our conversations about local island life, thank you for sharing your perspectives with us : )|- Room just like the pictures: huge space with sitting area and a separate dining table, a King bed (very squeaky – only complaint lol) with lovely crisp white soft linens and a bunch of pillows, big bathroom with the a deep soaking tub (Tip: bring bubble bath!) and separate shower, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, toaster, microwave and coffee-maker (Tip: bring your own filters for a 12-cup coffeemaker) and stacked washer and dryer (Tip: bring your own detergent : ). Housekeeping did a wonderful job daily. We had lots of towels and coffee/sugar restocked and kitchen sink came with a sponge and small bottle of Dawn. Handy. I almost forgot to mention the balcony that had a full-size glass table, 4 comfy patio chairs as well as a full lounger. It was huge! Wonderful to gaze out at nature and the nighttime lightening storms. We did not have any trouble with bugs even though the balcony was not screened in.|- Free breakfast with fruit, juices, coffee, pastries, packs of cream cheese, jam and peanut butter; nothing fancy but super handy to get something in you quickly to get going for the day. Close to other resort restaurants at GBC (Infinity, across the street) or Ocean Club West (Solana!, 2min walk to the left) or The Oasis (Isolana, 2min walk to the right) should you want something a little more substantial|- Small resort, 42 units in 3 buildings with an elevator (at least in building A) that includes 2 pools, a hot tub, Tiki Bar, 2 BBQs and lovely landscaping; bushes of colourful beautiful flowers, a variety of palm trees, giant aloe, all really lush. If you need more amenities, all of your needs may be met very close by. Reception staff were really friendly, kind and helpful always, and shout out to Oliver, thank you for your hospitality!|- AMAZING LOCATION and within walking distance to all of the good stuff: restaurants, convenience shops, Graceway Gourmet, and the main Grace Bay Road with all the shops, duty-free, cafes, access to resorts and more restaurants. Only 15min drive from the airport. Fabulous.|We come to Grace Bay for the bounty of flora and fauna, the sea life, the chill vibe, and of course, the beach that is incomparable to anywhere else in North America. The ocean is a masterclass in all of the blues, with sand that is so white, soft and fine. Water so clear you can see fish without a snorkel in shallow waters. Incredible wall for divers! I just can’t explain my love for this place. It is pure peace, beauty and harmony: like, transformative beauty. Food is top notch on the island, cafes and shops are awesome, stylish and not to mention that it is a really safe place overall. I will 1000% return. With all of my most sincere and warmest wishes Thank You VDM and TCI: Beautiful by Nature. |Package was booked through Voyages Bergeron with Air Canada Vacations: everything went well. Arriving at Villa del Mar we were greeted by Westline and Ruth. Their smiles were contagious and we soon learned that each of these professional ladies would be so accommodating throughout our stay, exceeding our expectations, "Many Many Thanks", to you two! We had a quick check in, however our room was not quite ready but did not take long (approx. 1/2 hr). We had assistance with our luggage to the room (202), using an elevator and luggage cart made it so easy. Our room had ample space for two, king size bed, queen sofa bed, the room was actually quite spacious. Large bathroom, shower with and separate tub. A kitchenet, table and two chairs, coffee maker, sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, with enough dishes and serving amenities for four. A large deck with a lounger and table plus four chairs and a great garden/pool view. This is a boutique condo/resort (42 rooms) we never had any issues with pool loungers or beach loungers being available. Villa del Mar also has an exclusive beach location in a very short walking distance, for their guests. We have never seen so many vacant beach loungers, goes without saying, never had any problem with obtaining loungers at any time of the day. Beach staff were more than eager to assist us with lounger prep, towels, cold water or bar trips, many thanks to Kerone and Lerone (twins). The soft white sand beach and aqua colored water was beautiful, long walks on a not so busy beach, made this vacation so memorable. Morning continental poolside breakfast, not a lot of choices but a great way to get your day started, Rose works so hard at spot cleaning and keeping food supplies topped up, "Thank you Rose", you assisted in making our vacation memorable. As this was a boutique resort it didn't take long to feel welcomed. Felix took care of the pool, loungers and grounds, great chatting with him. The pool bar opened for business at noon and stayed open until 8:00. Wilkin, managed the bar and was great to talk with. We introduced him to good old classic Canadian rock music, which he played frequently. This vacation was a celebration of our 46th wedding anniversary and a birthday for our daughter, who joined us. We had pre-arranged for a third person with Villa del Mar, they were so accommodating, again "Thank You, Westline"! Guest appreciation on Wednesday's with live music was a nice personal touch, played a love song for our anniversary and happy birthday song for our daughter. Oliver, the evening front desk person assisted with Island sites to see or visit and various restaurants within walking distance, he was very accommodating and always had a smile. We spent a morning snorkeling with Caicos Island Charters, who picked us up from the beach in a large Catamaran, very smooth sailing. We were very fortunate to see a Humpback whale and her calf up close and personal (of course within a safe distance), lots of reef fish and a visit to an Island to see the endangered Rock Iguana's, this activity is a must. As usual our time went quickly, memorable restaurants such as Solana (Gary, "Many Many Thanks", for making our vacation memorable), The Farm (Rose) and Big Al's (Nadia) a not so known pub restaurant that makes a great burger at a reasonable price, Bella Luna and Castaway (great live music) all were within walking distance from...
