Went to get a covid test ( am visiting from Scotland) and thought would be safe idea to head to the pharmacy, check out to ask. Was told someone would be with me in a minute by one of the three people in the pharmacy sectionā¦was then queue jumped by someone asking for their methadone who they chatted with for a minute or moreā¦still I waited patiently until that conversation was over and still no one came over to me or acknowledge, I was a real person waiting there. In the end I asked if anyone could serve me to which I was told to go down to the bottom till unless I wanted something from behind the counter. I confess I replied less than reasonably āwell thatās why Iām hereā and asked about the Covid tests and was finally told where they were. Completely unnecessary bad service. When you are working in a shop you are there to serve people who walk into it. No wonder so many people shop online. I wasnāt given an opportunity to speak to anyone or ask any questions. I was just simply ignored while medicines were made up as though no one was waiting for them. Very disappointing boots as Iāve been a loyal customer pretty much all my adult...

Please note: insulin is required to keep me alive. Because Boots are busy, the Pharmacist does not have the right to not do their job.
The pharmacist forgot to add my insulin to the bag. I told her it was missing. She told me it wasn't on the prescription and walked away from me to serve someone else (acting like I wasn't there). I had to interrupt the next customer and ask the Pharmacist to check. The Pharmacist looked at the customer as though I were being difficult. The Pharmacist then found my prescription with the required (to stay alive) item on it.
If this happened to an old person, as I have to presume it does frequently, that person if far more likely to walk away without the medication.
These are not sweets. We require the pharmacist to be professional and pay attention when in the trusted position of distributing medicine.

I did not like it tho and politely thanked she slagged me off loudly to the customer she served and I walked of just few steps and could still hear them talking about me wanting to smell good for free and just wanting to try it without the intention of buying it!!! Very poor customer service! Yeah I should definitely blind buy the perfume or buy it anyway after not liking as she made such an effort unlocking the door literally next to her till!!! Management please retrain your staff and employ people who actually want to do their job not just to come in to stand there...
