Incredible staff, amazing prices and beautiful jewellery! What more could you want?

My other half and I visited S.P. Green on the day that we got engaged, having done little research into what we wanted, we were immediately met with a warm and welcoming congratulations and were put at ease by the very friendly staff. We were given a thorough run through (by the amazing Charlie) of everything that we needed to know about engagement rings. It gave us great confidence in making such a significant purchase with staff who were more than happy to spend time with us and quash any worries that we had (of which there were many).

After trying on probably over 20 rings, we found the one! The staff weren’t pushy at all and were very happy that we wanted to take a few hours to think our choice through. They were almost encouraging of this. Whilst my partner and I were discussing the rings we ended up getting confused about if we needed different harder wearing materials. On returning with the shop, instead of immediately grabbing at the chance to upsell us to a more expensive metal, we were reassured with the choice we had made and also given options of what we could do if it didn’t work out.

We were on holiday at the time and really wanted the ring to break the news to friends and family, the staff pushed it through (even going above and beyond by delivering it to the workshop themselves) and managed to get our chosen ring resized and back instore in 3 working days.

On top of the excellent service we received on the day, Charlie was very happy to take follow up questions on insurance over the phone on the following days.

Discovering this jewellers was truly a blessing and made our experience of getting married very special.

Before my husband and I got engaged we began looking in many different jewellers in Bath, most of which were retailers, and never really found anything that we liked, especially for my engagement ring. Then one day we discovered S.P. Green and went inside. At the time we were only 20 and 21, and oftentimes in other places we felt a little judged and not taken seriously. Charlie, however, not only made us feel very welcome, but also took the time to get to know us and understand what we were after. It was always lovely to be sat down instead of standing over different rings so we could get a good look and feel for the different styles.

Charlie helped us have both my engagement ring, which was a classic solitaire, and my husband’s wedding band with a unique tsavorite diamond made to order, and he also carefully selected out my diamond wedding band that paired beautifully with my engagement ring. He truly is very knowledgeable and also gives very helpful advice, and also has a lovely character and was very thoughtful and caring.

My husband and I met in Bath and got married locally, so it indeed felt very special to of had this wonderful experience with a local jeweller.

Fantastic! No other word for it. It’s full of nothing but professional, knowledgeable and personable staff who helped me on my design and selection process to make the perfect signet ring. This, being my first ring, was a new experience for me but Linnea had barrels of advice to help me select the right size, shape, weight and design.

It’s not informal but was a very relaxing experience from the minute I stepped through the door. Everyone were welcoming and made you feel like you were in good hands (especially for me as I had not a clue what I was trying to buy or what it was going to look like). They are open to ideas and requirements and will try to facilitate everything you want!

Also hats off to the engraving team in Birmingham, pulled off what we thought would be a bit of squeeze. The photo does do justice but considering what I was asking them to engrave, they pretty much did it bang on with a bit of extra detailing on the top!

All in all, if you want to go somewhere you can trust, with staff who remember you and exactly what you are buying, who know what they are talking about and all at not a bad price, this is definitely for you. Bang on experience and will suggest to...
