Celebration Cake Centre — Local services in Bristol

Called last month and put in order and paid for a cake for my sons birthday, was then called two days before the collection date being asked what it actually was that we wanted, surely this should have been written down when I first called and paid. I then arranged to collect it today, Facebook says 5pm closing on a Friday, I showed up outside at 2.30pm only to find they have shut the shop and gone home, no one answering the phone and multiple emails have been ignored. My son now has no cake for his party tomorrow and I’ve been left out of pocket and very disappointed and disgusted by the unprofessional manner in which this has all been handled. I have always used celebration cakes & have found them to be very professional & there cakes look & taste outstanding. I rang today to enquire about a birthday novelty cake for my daughters 16th Birthday & the man l spoke to was absolutely rude, unprofessional & kept changing his mind about the dates & times. He was not willing to listen & kept interrupting me, he was saying today is Wednesday when it's Tuesday. I am not sure if the man should be answering the phone as he is seemed confused & didn't want to help me. I felt as though this man didn't want me to order. I will never order with celebration cakes again which is a shame as l have used them for the last 20 years. Good service and fair price，outside look of the cake was great. However I do feel dissapointed about the flavour，cake was simply bread over cream and over bread and over creamwith a thick layer on top that is almost hard as a brick. The overall taste was just too sweet，and the outside layer almost taste like a pure sugar cube. The inside bread was not spongy，but only sweet and granular，and when I place the order there did not seem to be any flavour choice.I feel bad because the birthday cake looks really good and I was hoping this would be a perfect birthday cake，but the taste really ruined a bit.
