I was visiting Buxton last May when I passed the Hot Chocolaterie store by chance, and I was so excited to see that they did hot chocolate, I had to go in and try it. Hot chocolate is my favourite drink ever and I've tried many different ones from all over, yet this one was the BEST! It was so delicious and chocolatey, it was made so well and came with complementary marshmallows. I also loved the fact that it was served in a "kind cup", which is 100% compostable. I would absolutely visit again (or even everyday!) if only I didn't live so far away. I would highly recommend this shop - the owner is lovely and friendly, the chocolates look amazing and the hot chocolate is delicious! ❤️

Near the Slopes car park or just a short walk uphill from The Square and the crescent, this chocolate shop is amazing! The owner really knows everything she has created and can tell you more about the combinations and quality ingredients. There were three special recipe hot chocolates available, and we had some homemade biscotti, chocolate cake and two of the exquisite individual chocolates. The dark hot chocolate was bitter enough but beautifully smooth and rich. The pumpkin spiced hot chocolate was incredible too, and we bought some lavender white hot chocolate mix to make at home. I'm looking forward to this "hug in a mug". The owner was really helpful and friendly. Everything was great value. I hope to come back soon and sample more of her delightful creations. Definitely recommend finding this gem if you visit Buxton! Food, service and atmosphere...

My mum and dad took me today , it was brilliant, i highly recommend the chocolate , the lady that owns it was amazing and kind , i had the mushmallow chocolate and it was amazing with a salty marshmellow inside that was melted , the cup of tea was so good that i had three cups , thank u so much , i havent been a better place with chocolate , she decided to get her own shop a long time ago and hand made these chocolates , again thank u so much for the service and food, we will be...
