Cherry Tree Cottage — Local services in High Peak

We booked this cottage after a property we had previously booked was cancelled on us the day before we were due to arrive however this was blessing in disguise. We could not believe our luck with finding this cottage which is in the heart of Buxton but just far enough from the high street that you do not feel intruded upon and noise levels are low. The cottage itself offers fantastic facilities that, in fairness, I would not expect for the very competive price that we paid. These include a fully equipped kitchen with a good oven, cooking utensils and a dishwasher (handy for us as we intended to cook from home as well as dine out in town). The open fire and cosy living room make it a tough decision to leave of an evening. Upstairs is the bedroom, which we both agreed was comfortable, and the bathroom with a bath tub - again, this was a nice touch given most properties only have a shower. Having a parking space at the front of the property was convenient and practical. We both appreciated the extra mile Phil and Fran went in providing wine, milk, fresh flowers and other basics upon our arrival. Anything we needed throughout our stay we obtained from the Sainsbury store around the corner.

Following our stay we have both agreed to come back to Cherry Tree cottage in the summer when we can explore the local area more whilst staying at this beatiful property. Would fully recommend this cottage not only based on merit but also value and location. Thank you...

We booked a 5 night break at the Cherry Tree Cottage and we must say it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish, not a single issue.

The 3 hour journey flew by thanks to driving through lovely countryside and an excellent AA route map.

The Cottage was second to none I have stayed in. From accessing the Keys, to the amazing welcome pack, very thoughtful and we were very grateful.

The cottage is very well furnished to a very high standard, luxury bedding and towels give it a high end feel.

The bath is amazing, very relaxing with copious amounts of hot water.

The quiet location is Ideal, we suggest a lovely walk down through the pavilion gardens, enchanting.

Being a real ale lover I was spoilt for choice with 6 friendly quality pubs in walking distance.

We would love to visit Cherry Tree Cottage again, we cannot recommend it...

What a place!!

We spent our first Christmas as husband and wife there this year and it was absolutely perfect!

The cottage is cosy, comfortable, yet very modern with everything you could ever need. Everything is immaculate and finished to a very high standard throughout the property. The log fire is perfect and just added to the wonderful Christmassy feel of the place. The owners had decorated it beautiful for our arrival and had left is a gorgeous Christmas hamper and a cwrdon arrival.

The location is also perfect. There's everything you need on your doorstep, pubs and shops to beautiful Buxton countryside!

Would definitely recommend the cottage to anybody and we are certainly looking to come...
