Oh how I love a visit to Honest Burger...!! Which is one of many reasons I was so pleased when the new one opened up the road from my office!

My brother and I checked it out last week, as he had obtained a magical voucher which covered our meal. Incredible. We arrived at 6pm so it was nice and quiet, but these places do get a whole lot busier very soon after - understandably. The atmosphere can get busy, but it’s always laid back and relaxed.

The staff were all incredibly helpful and so friendly. Being a vegetarian, the main reason I love Honest is their “Plant” burger. Naturally then, I ordered that. Made from the Beyond Meat burger patties, these are just the best thing ever. Tastes almost better than meat (in my humble opinion), with the nicest difference being no fat or gristle. And of course, once Honest have done their thing with it, it is even more delicious. Not only that, but they doubled up my burger for me last week - truly what dreams are made of, and incredibly kind.

As always, the rosemary fries were dangerously good. We also had a side of the red cabbage slaw which is delicious, and the onion rings - wow they’re good. To drink, we both had the Honest G&T, which was seriously refreshing on a hot day. We got this meal for free because of the voucher, but it’s still brilliantly well priced for some of the best burgers in town regardless.

In short, I cannot recommend Honest enough, whichever branch you go to. Absolutely top draw, thank you guys so much, and please keep doing...

We had a disappointing experience at Honest Burgers in London Bridge. The wait for our first burger was 20 minutes, and the second burger never even arrived after an additional 10 minutes. For a small table of 2, both orders should arrive at the same time, otherwise one person is left watching the other eat. When we inquired about the missing food, the server was apologetic but seemed to be unaware of the situation. We decided to cancel the order and requested the bill to avoid wasting anymore time so we could catch our train home. Another server later acknowledged the kitchen's mistake and waived the bill as an apology. Despite their gesture, we believe there should be better communication between the kitchen and servers, and it would be beneficial if they proactively checked on customers in case of such mishaps.

As for the food itself (what arrived, at least), the standard beef burger was well made and tasty, however the onion rings were quite greasy and the chips had been over-salted by a mile. We found the chips to be disappointing compared to previous experiences at other branches. In the past, the chips were properly seasoned and had a more substantial cut, resembling thicker, less typical fries. However, on this occasion, the chips were over-seasoned and were cut thinner, resembling more like typical fries.

Perhaps this was a one off and it was a bad day for them, but unfortunately I can’t say I’ll be too keen to come back to...

Was served a raw chicken burger (see attached pictures). Mistakes happen and I can understand that, but when I asked the waiter to check it his response was “that’s how it’s meant to be” and “I can ask them to cook you another one but it’s going to look the exact same as that’s how we cook them.” I was made to feel I was in the wrong and was creating an inconvenience simply because I didn’t want to eat raw chicken. His attitude was, just eat it and stop being a pest. I asked the chap if he would eat it and he just shrugged. No apology.

Eventually a second member of staff came out with a replacement beef burger (as I was completely put off the chicken burger by this stage, having taken a bite of raw chicken). She advised that all burgers are temperature tested before serving. I showed her the attached pictures and she agreed it didn’t look right and she kindly removed the charge for the burger from my bill and apologised. Had the initial waiter been so helpful there would have been no issue and I wouldn’t have left this review.

Very disappointing as I’ve eaten here before and it’s been very good.

Hopefully the waiting and kitchen staff can be upskilled in food hygiene before a customer is given food poisoning or worse.

Very hot spot for burgers! I went and tried their new smash double burger and I was actually impressed!! I had been at other Honest restaurants but this one is now my favourite! Lovely atmosphere, really urban but welcoming. Good service and quick delivery! Portions are decent for the price even though I would have love a bunch of extra chips. Recommended!
