Finnmark Sauna — Local services in London

I bought a new sauna unit and stones from this company along with accompanying equipment for my sauna. I was refurbishing. Delivery was very good, but my disappointment at having a sand timer sold to me that doesn't work in a sauna has cast a poor light on the whole experience. On discovering the timer didn't work in our sauna I positioned it lower down as advised , it still didn't work so I tried it with the sauna off and it still didn't work consistently. I sent it back to be tested as advised by Judy and was told that having tested it on her desk it was fine and could be sent back as it could not be resold. Well as it is a sauna sand timer but doesn't work in a sauna it should just go in a bin. It was a £30 sand timer so we would have expected better. Finnmark Sauna was our choice when we decided to make good on our dream of a wood-burning forest sauna. The experience with this company was superlative. The entire team is professional, courteous, highly knowledgable and flexible to meet the needs of demanding and quirky customers like us. In a few months the entire project was planned, ordered and dispatched, with helpful advice always sent on whenever we had a query. I can't recommend this company highly enough. They have a reputation as being the best in the UK, and there is no doubt in my mind that this is well-earned. As we move forward in our sauna or spa needs, we will always turn to Finnmark. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience with Finnmark, from Jake and Max's clear knowledge of Finnish Sauna (correctly pronounced!) to the efficient delivery and build on site. All of this was completely trumped by our first löyly (steam?) which was as sweat and wonderful as we could have hoped. The build is of such construction that I doubt I will be in the market for another sauna within my lifetime, unless I move, but if I was, I'd look no further than Finnmark for my next one!

An update - 1 year on and I can say that we are still delighted with our Sauna. We haven't needed much aftercare at all, but Jake has always been quick to respond to any questions we might have. The "löyly" remains wonderful, and our "saunatonttu" (Elves who live in the sauna and are the spiritual guardian) are also very happy. Even our cat...
