Boots Beauty — Local services in London

They all been very nice all the time, a blond girl often looked after me, she’s been fantastic.

yesterday. A tall woman, black hair who works there - — really treated me very bad, letting me feel a liar and so so small.

I have had lost my boots card recently and I just pop in to make another one.

I was queuing to see her (station right in the middle, around 16:30 yesterday). When it was my turn I told her I wanted to do a new card and that I am a student, she said “yes yes sit and start fill up the form”.

In 1 minute she came over bit annoyed saying “have you done?” I said almost but she then said to me “you know you need to buy something to activate it “ I felt already very bad, first of all I don’t really think is true, second I felt like pushed to spend money only because I’ve asked to activate the card. Like I’m stealing her and company time.

Second I reminded her I am a student and showed UNIDAYS profile that only students can have. She looked at me like I am a liar scanning me from head to toe, and then she said “ who is gonna tell me that you just don’t work there?” Like…. Only students can have UNIDAYS. I felt really really bad, and basically she ruined my afternoon!

I came back today with my student ID and another lovely and caring girl who works there, add on that I am a student with my UNIDAYS account proving is more than enough to prove it, I’ve also asked her if I need to buy something to activate the card she said absolutely not.

I had a disappointing experience at the Boots beauty store today. I went there to buy a birthday gift for my girlfriend, who has long wanted a Dyson hairdryer. After waiting nearly 20 minutes for assistance in the Dyson section, I approached a young lady and expressed my interest in purchasing the hairdryer. I showed her the model and specified the color I wanted.

To my surprise, she didn't provide any additional feedback or comments, which I found odd given the high cost of the item. Anyway, she went to retrieve the item from storage and quickly returned. Then, she made an outrageous comment that she had to "check the item" because she thought I was going to steal it.

I was so appaled! I immediately told her I intended to pay for it, but her insinuation that I was a thief left me feeling deeply insulted and humiliated. It was an incredibly unprofessional and offensive accusation to make, especially to a regular customer.

I proceeded to the tills and completed my purchase, but the entire experience was tainted by her remark. I understand the need for caution with expensive items, but such comments are completely unnecessary and downright unpleasant.

The staff at this store desperately need better training in customer service and basic respect for their customers. This incident has left me very reluctant to return to this store...

Visited on Saturday (busiest day ever!) however this did not stop the fantastic service i received! I was greeted at the door by a lady called Jess who was absolutely fantastic! She showed me around the store and and explained what this boots had to offer and honestly they have everything a girl could dream off!

I had my skin tested by clinique and then was advised on what products would suit my skin best.

I hadnt had a skin care routine before and wasnt sure on what products would suit me best however Jess showed me around the store and recommended some fantastic products ! Which already have made my skin glow !

She also went over basic makeup products on what primers etc to use on my skin based in my skin type and bobby brown omg its amazing. Ive noticed a great change in my base foundation just based on skin care and these products recommend to me by jess.

Overall all staff were great and I dont think i would go anywhere else now ive received such amazing service here I couldn't imagine going anywhere else you would not find service like this in your local boots so would highly recommend coming here and again thank you jess for your amazing service !
