I want to give a huge shoutout to a member of staff at Marble Arch station — his name sounded like Tishan (apologies if I’ve misspelled it). From the moment I stepped into the station with my buggy, he went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get to my train safely and without stress.
He personally carried the buggy for me from the gates, down the escalators, and then through another set of stairs all the way to the platform. He didn’t just point me in the right direction or give a vague suggestion — he actually walked with me the whole way, ensuring I wasn’t struggling alone. That level of care and initiative is rare and truly deserves recognition.
To be completely honest, this stands in stark contrast to so many other Underground stations, where mums with prams are left to fend for themselves in an incredibly inaccessible network. Most of the time, it feels like parents are invisible — yet here was someone who noticed, cared, and acted with genuine kindness.
Tishan (I hope I’ve got his name right!) turned what could have been a stressful, exhausting journey into a smooth and positive experience. He is a credit to Transport for London, and I sincerely hope his effort doesn’t go unnoticed. If every station had staff like him, travelling with young children would be so much easier...

At marble arch central line train station when we got off the train we were half way up the stairs a gust of wind blew my hat off and went under the electric rail so we told some staff and they said "at night we will get your hat and post it to you". And they did send it to us and got it at Thursday 25th April 2019. The station manager was so kind. He let me go in the office and that's where I gave him our address. I am going straight to marble arch station when we go to London again because he said "when you next go to London you can see places where people can't see".😀😀😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍👍👍🚇🚇🚇🚇🚇🚇 I CANT WAIT TO GO TO...
