A common specific/simple phobia, ophidiophobia refers to an intense, extreme, or unrealistic fear or anxiety towards snakes. In the Christian Bible (Revelation 12:9 CJB; Revelation 20:2 CJB; Genesis 3:14 CJB), the serpent is an embodiment of Satan whose endeavours to seduce Eve are manifested.

The most typical images of ‘human head and snake body’ are the Chinese Myth of Nvwa and Fuxi. As the earliest written records of human civilisation and even human creation in Chinese culture, they show the intimacy with nature, showing the relationship between natural signs and cultural symbols (Sun 2023: 209).

Cleopatra ‘[wa]s often credited with the writing of treatises on poisons, cosmetics and medicines’ (Rosso 2021: 694). Noted by her physical beauty, ‘Cleopatra wrote in Greek a treatise called the Cosmetics as a professional manual which discussed remedies, potions and ointments’ and ‘studied the fragrances and cosmetics formulas in a recipe book entitled Cleopatra gynaeciarum libri’ that popularised skin care treatments (Rosso 2021: 682, 685).

Associated with land, uraeus (serpent, Latin origin serpens) is a symbol for the serpent goddess Wadjet, the protector of lower Egypt, kings and pregnant woman. The Egyptian term signifies blue and green and symbolises 'Eye of the Moon' (Hathor, Horus, Ra). Pharaoh crown displayed with an uraeus encapsulated claim over land, legitimacy to rule, royalty and suzerainty.

Setepenre is a frequently-utilised royal title of Egyptian pharaohs, meaning elect of Ra, chosen by Ra, strong is the justice of Ra, God's carpenter or artisan, or son of God. It was also the official names of two pharaohs: Setepenre (Princess Sotepenre), the youngest daughter of Akhenaten and Nefertiti (18th Dynasty) and Usermaatre Setepenre Ramesses II or Ramesses the Great (19th Dynasty).

One of the longest regents, the third pharaoh of the 19th Dynasty, Usermaatre Setepenre Ramesses II, was known as 'Montu in the Two Lands' and was depicted as a 'strong bull', associated with the bull cult founded on the astrological precession of Taurus. The genealogy of Montu can be traced to Montuhotep I, whom united Upper Egypt (represented by Montu-Ra) and Lower Egypt (represented by Atum-Ra) in the 11th dynasty. Montu acted as protector of household advocating commitment and aided sun god Ra on nightly underworld journeys combatting the serpent of Chaos (Apep or Apophis).

Its Terrible and not worth the price - not worth to pay anything! Its ridiculous to demand money for this ! ( 0 Star wasnt possible )

I couldnt believe my eyes.

Its just a detached part of the pond(!!!) In Germany we would never swim in a water like this and we wouldnt be allowed either(Thats why i didnt go into the water) and you couldnt see it before paying entry because they covered it with a high fence.

They dont clean anything on the floor so you have algae (come from duck/geese poop) in the water - its not deep so youl will walk on it, Tons of poop on the "beach" ( because a lot of geese are Living there). They also Charge you additional 12 pounds for a sunbed. You also could lay on the dirrty floor.

They also told us, that Parents need to stay with their kids within an arm length. Even if the kid has a bronze swimming badge, and even if they got a lifguard.

So whats the point? (I would never leave my kid unattended, but an Arm length while having a lifeguard and paying for entry is ludricous.)

The stuff was not very friendly but snobby. So we left after a...

Perfect stop for those crossing Hyde Park. Great location by the water with lots of tables outside with some right by the water. There's also seating inside. Decent food options (burger on the dry side), although they are more like a museum cafe, focusing on sweet baked products and lots of coffee drinks. Plenty of drinks options, although the manager was unpleasant insisting that the apperol must be full of ice despite customer requests. (He actually threw the ice cubes into the drink). Very strange. Service is otherwise friendly and efficient. I think they have PIMMS on tap. There is a cream and coffee van outside for those passing through quickly. Lots of waterfowl birds staring in your plate - don't feed them or they start fighting each other.
