Yougi — Local services in London

My friends and I booked a perfume-making class with Yougi, and because of bad weather and transport delays, we were running 15 mins late to our class. Alongside several customers who also booked the same session, we were refused access to the class and were no longer able to participate. The manager didn’t even have the decency or managerial attributes to actually inform us in person; her colleague had to. All customers asked if we can reschedule or, in fact, receive a refund, and we were told to contact the manager to see if this is possible. My friend who booked the class wrote a detailed email explaining the situation and asked whether we can reschedule or if she can receive a refund. And as you can see by the one star, the answer was, of course, no.

My friends and I are extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service. Customer service isn’t just niceties and smiles on faces; it’s about being compassionate and being flexible in order to develop strong relationships with customers. I do hope you reconsider how you navigate these issues and problems because as a small business in London, specifically in Shoreditch, you should expect transport to affect the arrival time of your customers and offer an extended grace period before the...

Sonia and Eilidh hosted a bespoke perfume session at our PR and influencer event this week all based around the launch of four new colourways of our product. The session was the perfect length for each attendee to get involved, whilst having a chat with other attendees and members from the launch team. The scents they designed for the event were wonderful and so many attendees have since shared with us how much they enjoyed the activation. The Yougi team were so incredibly helpful in the run up to the event and incredibly communicative, making our role in managing the event so much easier. Would recommend again and again. I recently attended a perfume workshop, and it was everything I hoped for and more! I’ve been wanting to do this for so long, and it didn’t disappoint. The class was well equipped with a wide variety of materials and tools, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. The instructor was incredibly helpful, especially when I had specific ideas in mind—they were always willing to guide me and offer advice.
