I am staying just off Brick Lane tonight and as I am dining solo, I wanted somewhere with a relaxed and at-home vibe on this cold November evening. I know this is maybe a bit in-depth for some, but I'm sat on my own with rare time to myself so you're getting a big-ish review!

I cook a lot of Middle Eastern food, and really wanted to try something other than curry which I usually go for when I come here. I'm really rubbish at choosing what to order as I always want to try a bit of everything so after a little conversation with Hamed, I ordered a platter for one, with lamb.

The starter dish came within about 5 minutes and consisted of hummus, tabbouleh, moutabel, falafel, bread and pickles, with a tiny pot of something which tasted nutty like a tahini dip. The falafel were fried and crispy on the outside and packed with herbs and fluffy on the inside like they should be. The tabbouleh was herby, fresh and cool and taking a little bit of everything together made a really balanced mouthful with a good bit of acidity from the pickles.

The main followed a few minutes after I'd finished my starter and was around 5 pieces of lamb, cooked on a skewer with bread, salad and rice, with a little pot of a garlic dip and a spicier red pepper-based dip. Some of the lamb was pink (how I like it), and had the charred taste that you expect from this cuisine. I'm not into baclawa so I got a lovely tea to finish my meal, aromatic with cinnamon and cardamom, and a good spoonful of sugar. The meal overall was filling yet not too heavy and was full of flavour.

I was made to feel very comfortable by Hamed; he was polite, willing to have a conversation and I felt very relaxed as a woman on my own. Thank you. I'll be back next time I...

Outstanding Dining Experience

Rating: 10/10

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Here's why I'm giving it a perfect score:

Service: 10/10 The service at this restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. Ana, our waitress, deserves special mention for her impeccable attention to detail and friendly demeanor. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was flawless. Every request was met with a smile. It's rare to find service of this caliber.

Atmosphere: 10/10 The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly captivating. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in an inviting ambiance that exudes warmth and sophistication. The decor, lighting, and overall layout contribute to a memorable dining setting.

Food: 10/10 (and beyond) The culinary offerings at this restaurant are nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. It's evident that the chefs here take great pride in their craft. Each bite was a delight, and I would rate the food even higher if I could.

In summary, the restaurant is a shining gem in the dining scene. From the impeccable service, to the inviting atmosphere, to the outstanding food, it's a complete package. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. I can't...

After seeing the amazing reviews I decided to try this place. Went with my husband on a Sunday evening. I chose the foul medames as a starter as it's one of my favourite Lebanese dishes and it was very tasty but not as flavourful (seemed like it lacked lemon juice or onion) as I had remembered from other Lebanese places I've eaten at. Still great though. The bread it came with was a good portion size. I also ordered the lamb chops main. Very tasty, the rice and salad complemented it very well. The chops themselves were a little tough so I had to eat some with my hands. It was also a big portion so I gave one chop to my husband. My husband ordered the king prawns main. I tried some and the prawns were also very tasty. Again a huge portion so he couldn't finish all of it by himself. The star of everything we ate was probably the garlic sauce (I believe it's called toum) which came with my main but I also used it to dip some bread into. The spicy red sauce was also nice. Not too hot and very flavourful. All together I would definitely go here again and probably order some mezes or a platter next time as I would have loved to try more things on the menu but couldn't eat too much food. The atmosphere and service were also great as well.
